They're releasing a new album in April, so I'm guessing their set will include a lot of that.
And they usually alway include "The birth and death of a day" and "first breath after a coma" , which are my two favorite songs of theirs. So so so soooo good.
For those who haven't been exposed to their music yet, I'd say check out those two songs to be completely hooked.
Also, throw "Your Hand In Mine" into that.
Especially the version "(with strings)" from the Friday Night Lights soundtrack.

even if roo had screwed the pooch on this lineup and still had explosions, i'd be there. one of my "If they're on the lineup, I'm going" acts since my first roo.
not to steal EITS thunder but And So I Watch You From Afar is another cool postrock band
meh, i enjoy them but there are so many better...

^^ i feel like a lot of those bands utilize distinctly different sounds than EITS. Hard to word my thought, but like more digital, if that makes sense. they are good though, but nothing will trump explosions for me.

i am definitely stoked for this. it's been forever since i've seen EITS live, and that was always in like a tiny club in denton, tx. seeing them on a festival stage should be a blast.
I want saturday late night, vs. L'il Wayne and SCI, please.
Pretty much what I was thinking. Not exactly those two artists, but definitely a LN along with two bands I don't want to see. Probably not going to happen but I can hope.

as much as i love eits, i feel like i'd prefer the sunset set as opposed to late night. don't get me wrong, they would thrive in a nightime setting, but i'm thinking a which stage pre headliner or something.

Wayyyy too small for that. If you want a sunset slot, you're going to get them closing a tent in the traditional Total Clusterfuck spot.
Late night tent, please! It had been far too long since I listened to these guys. Been on a binge since the line up dropped. I plan to be front and center on the rail.
Just don't pull an Animal Collective on these guys!
Seriously putting EITS in the day would be the biggest possible scheduling mistake they could make. Even worse than Volta or Animal Collective. It would just be so wrong.
I was listening to EITS today because I was studying for a test and this song came on, it was incredible...
The first time I ever heard EITS was actually that exact video and I was hooked. I think I've watched it about 25 times since the lineup announcemnt, just incredibly good.
