I must be the only person who doesn't wanna see them as a late night act. Their somber-mellow sound is much more suited for a relaxing early afternoon.

I agree that late nights are best suited for high energy shows. I guess a perfect spot for Bon Iver would be the Iron & Wine set from last year even though that contradicts my earlier post since it would still be daylight.

If they play the Which Stage I pray it's as a closer. The afternoon slots killed me last year, but I'm kind of a pussy when it comes to the heat I guess. If they do well at the Grammy's and rise in popularity even more, maybe a pre-pre headliner like The Decemberists would be possible? I'd be okay with that.
My guess is Which closer. Not to already be a jackass and make people disappointed, but I could see them in a tent closing situation where AC tries to thin the crowds by putting them up against a similar act somewhere else, like Fleet foxes on Which.
I should just shut up.
I think they did this with the Avett Brothers and Mumford and Sons in '10.
Yeah that's kinda what got me thinking in that direction. I hope it doesn't end up like that, though!
They'll get the Mumford & Sons spot, which will totally kill the vibe because of sound issues and just because the Which Stage is too big. I have no doubt in my mind that they could bring in 50,000 people like Mumford apparently did, but if I'm like a football field away from the stage, it's just too hard for me to really enjoy a show. Put them in a tent at 1 am.
It would be ideal to have them play a LN set, but I see them getting either Mumfords or The Decemberists set from last year....either way, having Bon Iver on the farm will be pretty special!
Just checked out the new album, and it is pretty great. I would definitely be excited if they were at Roo this year. They are playing the UIC Pavilion in Chicago tonight. Im thinking very hard about going, even though tix are 50 a pop! That's pricey.
I see him closing the Which. He's incredibly popular at this point - up for a couple Grammy's, I've been having more and more friends get into him. His music is perfect for a sunset Which slot. Almost too perfect to be true.
Bar any scheduling conflict, I see them there as they're a logical choice and huge with the Bonnaroo crowd.
I'm guessing they'll be on Which, somewhere in the later afternoon / early evening. I'd love, love, love, love to see them in Primus's slot.
They're the first billed band after Radiohead at Coachella, and the new album is pretty big. I don't see them playing anywhere but Which, and closing it.

I was thinking this would be amazing during sunset at Which. Was that when Mumford played last year? That was the most uncomfortable I was ALL weekend.. but then the sun went down and it was so perfect. Plus I'd rather be off to the side and sitting for this show, not crammed against the rail like I was for Mumford.
I saw where someone said they'd like to see Bon Iver in the Black Keys spot from last year. That'd be epic. But I see them most likely getting the Mumford & Sons spot or maybe the Primus spot from last year. Bon Iver & At the Drive-In are two of the acts I'm highly anticipating on getting now that I have seen the Coachella line-up. Hopefully it'll happen.
