So really, as much as I enjoy the current state of hip-hop (A$AP Rocky, Shabazz Palaces, Currensy, Kendrick Lamar, Blu to name a few) none of them would get me all too excited as far as a show at Bonnaroo goes.
I can't speak for the others but Curren$y puts on a great live show. I have seen him 4 times and he has never disappointed. He gets the crowd involved and he does a decent bit of acapella. Like he will do the first verse of the song with the beat and then the second verse will be acapella. Big KRIT also puts on a sick show.

I actually really disliked Curren$y's performance at smokers club, he had a broken leg from his Rock the Bells stage dive. Basically he sat the entire show and I couldn't see him for the most part. I am fully willing to admit those were extenuating circumstances, but that day Big K.R.I.T. was better and really I don't think with the leg he'll ever give a comparable set to Method Man.

I won't deny that having to sit the whole show took something away from his performance, but you've got to give the man some props for performing with a broken leg, that is dedication embodied.

I agree entirely with that statement. And I would be happy to see Spitta on the farm but I still feel there are much stronger choices considering how few hip-hop acts I expect to be booked.
