well unfortunately the sports houses / frats at my school dont bump doom at theyr parties. J.cole can actually be nasty tho the warm up was a dope mixtape, his album left much to be desired tho. yea i dont really listen to chiddy bang theyr kinda wak but they put on cool shows with the guided freestyle concept and what not.
B.o.B is a pretty big act at this point right? If his album is good, he'll probably get a Wiz Khalifa-sized push if not bigger I would imagine. Saw him at Coachella in 2010 and it was a lot of fun. Played the guitar a bit too.

I would rather not have a single rapper at the farm who thinks its a good idea to pick up a guitar.
Drake will most likely headline sadly .... I hope to see Tech N9ne on the list, he blew up over the last year and throws a hell of a show. other rapper would be Kendrick Lamar Big Sean J. Cole Slaughterhouse Devin The Dude Chip tha Ripper

Reef the Lost Cauze or all the Army of the Pharaohs Method Man Supernatural Nas and Common if their album drops in time Souls of Mischief Black Star Dilated People (settle for just Evidence) KRS-One
I feel like better hip-hop acts at the top means ignoring underground acts at the bottom of the list. I'd love ATCQ, Outkast, or Watch the Throne (late night, NIP until the sun rises) but would prefer legit lesser acts. I fear someone garbage (Drake) will be a high billed rapper I don't want to see and we will get less small good ones I do as result.

I just don't get it. Why now? What's the reason? It's not like he's Cat Stevens and changed his real name. He just changed his stage name after 20 something years.
Add Odd Future and Curren$y to that and you pretty much have my (realistic) wishlist too.
Curren$y is a good one.
Nothing I've seen from Odd Future over the past year suggest to me that they in any way are capable of a good live show (unless you like unintelligible vocals and lots of 14 year old kids screaming curse words and "moshing"), so I'll pass.
Curren$y is one of the best rap acts I have ever seen live and he was in a cast at the time and couldn't even move around the stage.
Odd Future, I will admit, I want to see because of the hype around them. I really like Goblin, but am not crazy about a lot of the other albums from their whole collection.
"I’m retiring the Mos Def name after 2011. I’m actually doing it. Yasiin. That’s it," he told MTV2's Sucker Free. "Mos Def is a name that I built and cultivated over the years, it’s a name that the streets taught me, a figure of speech that was given to me by the culture and by my environment, and I feel I’ve done quite a bit with that name and it’s time to expand and move on. Also, I didn’t want to have to deal with having any moniker or separation between the self that I see and know myself as."

What is everyone's opinion on machine gun Kelly? Could he be a fit a bonnaroo? He's really starting to become popular and is live shows look pretty fun and wild.

ATCQ seems like a reasonable expectation. I wouldn't say they, or any particular rapper or group, is likely, but I think there is a decent chance they are on the lineup.
The Roots A Tribe Called Quest Ghostface & Raekwon Brother Ali & Jake One Pusha T Freeway Freddie Gibbs Kendrick Lamar
A lot of these are some that I've thought could be possibilities. I could see Ali & Jake One or Grieves & Budo just for the simple fact that RSE is on top of booking, touring, etc. Ghostface & Raekwon would be really dope, and I would wild the fuck out if gangsta Gibbs rocked a thursday night set.
I'm sure it's unlikely, maybe Bonnaroo about 5 years ago, but Dilated Peoples would be off the hook esp w/ Ev's new album and Rakaa finally droppin' his in 2010.

I'm pretty optimistic for this years hip hop artists, mainly since it seems there will be money freed up by lack of an expensive headliner.
Group A: Drake (likely, but can't be too much $$), Outkast (everyone wants it, probably not gonna happen), The Roots (I guess they're hip hop?) Rick Ross and other generic mainstream names..
- It seems we will get 1 or 2 from group A, but the cost should be relatively cheap , at least compared to last year
Group B: Wu-Tang Clan, Tribe Called Quest, NaS, Raekwon, MF DOOM (I wish)
- I would love to get at least 1 from this group and I think there is a decent chance it will happen
Group C: ASAP Rocky, Kendrick Lamar, Odd Future, Freddie Gibbs, other 'new' artists trending up
- It looks like we're gonna get atleast 2 from this group
Group D: Repeats: J. Cole, Chiddy Bang, Childish Gambino
- 1 of these 3 seems possible
Group E: Selfish wish list: State Property tent - Freeway, Beanie, Sparks, Young Chris...any other Philly boys
