I think Alberto and some other people have thrown out a tent of Odd Future -> Wu Tang late night.
That's gotta happen.
This would be awesome. Honestly I could see Big Boi perform in the same slot with the same live band setup as last year and be totally happy and I think many people there could agree. It was such an awesome show.

Shad would b efucking sick for a show on thursday. Hes a rapper from Toronto and hes incredible. Won Canadian rap album of the year in 2010 (not a huge deal but he beat out drake). Dont think hes very well known in the states but you dont have to be for a earlier show. People should def listen to him if you dont know who he is

I pray to the great lord above we don't get Mac Miller. He fucking sucks. Sounds like a whining 13 yr old jump roping on hot coals. He'd just attract a ton of shiity people & fans to the farm. Who I'd most likely have to punch for puking in my eno.

You could just avoid his set as there would be 4-6 other things going on at that time
I believe it. What have you heard about Lamar's live show?
And GL, downloading it now.
EDIT: after googling it, I'm watching the Guillotine music video right now and I've definitely seen this before. It was on DG's blog months ago. I dig it.
I've heard Kendrick is solid, but unspectacular. To be honest, there aren't a ton of rappers that I think put on a sick show, and even fewer who I think have the chops to rock a crowd of 10,000+, which is what you'll get at even the smaller sets at Bonnaroo.
This is a big reason why I think all hip-hop acts should have a live band. It just brings more energy to a concert and you don't need a hype man screaming lyrics at the top of his lungs for 60 minutes.
Seeing Weezy with a live band before, it was MUCH better than his set at Roo. His Roo set was the same nonsense you'll see him do at the VMA's or something (in women's pants, mind you). He's actually a good artist when he stops getting smashed off of sizzurp and cranking out pop-hop hits to stay the most relevant rapper to teenage white girls.
Put Weezy on a stage with a real band and he's not just tolerable, he's actually enjoyable.
But back to the point, most new hip-hop artists lack a stage presence. A group like OF is all stage presence, and no polish. Raw acts definitely leave much to be desired regardless of genre, but hip-hop artists who have a weak live show are at the biggest disadvantage because they're the "most exposed" artists (much like how an NBA player is the "most exposed" athlete).
That being said, I'd still like to see ASAP on a Thursday night act.

Now that would be awesome - if Phife was up for it. They could couple an appearance with a question and answer in the cinema tent following Beats, Rhymes & Life...
J.cole & chiddy bang definatly killed it lasy year two of the best rap live shows I've seen in awhile. Also just saw common very recently in NY and he was incredible that would def be a solid grab. MF Doom would be a personal wish but i dont see it as likely
Childish Gambino was one of my favorite shows last year, I hope he comes back. I missed J.Cole because I had to go back to the tent and eat, but I am a fan of him and I'd def check him out if he was back this year.
But Chiddy Bang was really boring imo. Noone seemed into the show. I guess they scheduled him before Man Man to get the Phila bands back-to-back, but the ENTIRE crowd left after his show and missed one of the best shows at Roo.

My brain is struggling with the fact that someone who thinks that J.Cole, Chiddy Bang and Common are awesome would also want to see MF Doom.
haha well ya know sometimes you have your "party" rap where u just wanna hear dumb stuff over a loud beat and then other times you need something to expand your mind to (doom)
