This went under the radar but a couple weeks back Riot Mike did an interview with Q101 and teased a notable reunion for 2026, where he said the talks began all the way back in 2016.
Here is the exact quote:
"I think in 2 years there's going to be an awesome reunion... it's amazing. But that first conversation happened in 2016. He said if he'd ever do it, it would be with me.”
In 2016, when the first talks apparently began, Morrissey played the festival so you know where people’s minds are going lol (not saying I believe that, just what people are saying their minds went to right away lol)
