Not sure if he's taking a break to recuperate. He posted on his insta that he had to go to the hospital for a few hours the night before last due to nausea/vomiting. I checked in with him yesterday, and he said he was feeling much better than the day before. Nausea/vomiting gone and his fever has been kept in check by meds.

I went through one of the massive no-appointment-necessary testing places today since I was nearby for work. They had it run really well. I was in and out in less than 10 minutes. The test isn't that bad, uncomfortable but not as bad as I've heard.

i dunno about not uncomfortable. admittedly i got my test done at an "unofficial" site, but they stuck that swab way further up my butt then i thought they would.

They're hosting one for work on Monday. Thought about going because it's free, but I feel like I am pretty low risk for having it and don't want to take up resources. A coworker and I both also honestly had some reservations because the swab seems super not ok, so I am glad it isn't as bad as it looks.

I don't feel guilty taking the test because I see exposure risk at work. I'd say over half of the clients I see don't bother wearing masks, so it's only right I at least know I'm not potentially transmitting it.

was it an antibody test or just a current test
"Current" test. I want to take the antibody test too but I don't feel reassured insurance will pay for it, like they say.

There have been opportunity for me to take the test as well, but don't want to take resources when I'm home 90% of the time and have asthma so it'll probably be obvious if I catch/caught it.
I'm more interested in the antibody testing, only because I was so sick in February.

I think you got a different test.
my test results came back "you're a putrid little fucc boi". i might have gone to a dominatrix in error.
Do you want to dance while also thinking about all the ways you've failed as a human?

NY is making it available for free. There are places that will do it for a fee, though, so you have to pay attention.
That’s too far to drive. And she talks funny.
Yeah, the Buffalo accent shares a lot of traits with Chicago. It is not sexy. On the plus side, our bars are (usually) open until 4 AM so it there's a large window to get past it.

Hearing my sister complain about her father in law ranting about "Covid didn't kill anybody" and he's now on the "underlying conditions" bandwagon angers me. I really can't with these people.
