Yeah, started with headache/congestion which went away but then roared into a bad fever with some fatigue which is when I got concerned. No SOB/coughing but the lowest I’ve ran in 2 days was 101.9 even with meds.
So sorry!! Hope you recover fast.
any idea where you got it from?
Oh, definitely at work but I don’t want to give out more details than that here.

Feel free to DM me if you have any questions about meds.
What?!? You're not already taking hydroxychloroquine??
This is the vaccine I’m watching the closest. Unfortunately it’s Britain and we didn’t pile a lot of money into it like we have several others. We threw money at Sanofi in France to get first in line. Now France is pissed at us.
Well evidently we decided to throw a bunch of money at the Oxford vaccine this week.
the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) blew that timeline out of the water, announcing that it would pay British drugmaker AstraZeneca upwards of $1 billion for 300 million doses of an experimental vaccine, which will start to become available as early as this October
And Moderna has entered phase two of clinical trials this week.
Third positive test, 56 days after the first one, and 70 days from my first symptoms.
Jesus, this fucking thing.
are you still symptomatic at all or just testing positive? Because I’ve read (from the COVID-19 Positive subreddit mostly) that a lot of people are still receiving positive tests weeks after symptoms are gone due to dead viral shedding. But it doesn’t mean you still actively have it or could spread it.

It was 100.3 this morning, which was a good step forward. More coughing than yesterday, but it’s still only 1 every 30 minutes or so.
Do some deep breathing exercises. If you need a video I can send you one. And if the coughing is bad get some delsym or it’s generic. Hot showers with steam. Push the fluids and keep using Tylenol. No ibuprofen.

Have you lost your sense of smell/taste?
Yes on taste. I realized that when I drank some orange juice and realized it tasted like water. It’s very weird though because it’s made me very selective about what I can and can’t eat; I’m also suddenly super sensitive about temperature right now and prefer drinking/eating room temperature items when possible. My two favorite things right now are warm applesauce and Gatorade, lol.

I'm doing to second Druid on the COPD deep breathing exercises. Even if your cough isn't bad, now, it'll help keep your lungs in better shape to ward off any issues that might arise. I only discovered them during my second wave of symptoms, and I really wish I'd known about them during the first.

It is important to add that they also are ahead of the curve because they were doing MURS/SARS development they were already doing? I think October is a bit of a jump, but are they in phase 2 of study?

Moderna’s vaccine is all new technology. But it is based on research for SARS. It just started phase two.
Oxford’s vaccine is old technology and based on a past vaccine template that already passed safety regulations. They are in phase three.
