He doesn't do the "Condition" song in concert usually. I guess if there was ever was a time to pull that one out and dust it off, Bonnaroo would be it.

I could see it if Phish was backing it up.
You never know what might happen. That's part of the fun of Bonnaroo.

Actually I did just look it up on setlist.fm and he is playing Just Dropped in at most shows now as well.
If this is our setlist I will be happy, it is the most recent I could find. In fact I will go so far as to say it is a damn good setlist, and makes me excited for the show.

I'm guessing this is their idea of filling the country legend spot. Maybe he is. I don't think, "Wow, I'd like to see Kenny Rogers" like I did with Willie, Hag, Loretta, or Kristofferson. That is just my personal opinion.
Kenny's not expensive. He play's small casino theaters and state fairs usually.
I beg to differ. If the below link is relatively accurate (don't know if it is) we could have booked Caribou, The Tallest Man on Earth, and MF DOOM. I know it wouldn't have been easy to get all of those artists to agree, and I don't know if rates go up (or down?) for festivals. What I do know, is Skrillex is listed at 200k.
This is one of those adds that makes me realize Bonnaroo is truly the most diverse festival in the country and there's really nobody they could put on a lineup that would shock me.
Basically, agreed.
William Shatner would actually shock me, though. In the most glorious way imaginable!
"Common People". I'd be rail-camped for that shiznit.

Really only the first set of additions interested me. Kenny Rogers? I about busted up laughing when I saw it today...and then I cried thinking of what other talent they could have gotten with that cash.
if he will invite me on stage in a Rootu to sing "Islands in the Stream" I will accept the invite.
Kenny is incredibly shy. He battles debilitating stage fright every day. But he asked me -- because I told him you and me are tight -- to tell you that you're invited.
And another thing, to all you who get your panties in a wad because you don't like promoters' choice of a third tier artist, either put on a festival of this magnitude or get over your damn selves.
^^^ This could be awesome, and surreal. Especially if Miss Dolly lingered long enough to duet on "Jolene".
Jack White (hologram) handling lead guitar? Ooooo-weeee!
Nevermind.
I was just thinking this morning that a lot of the people unhappy with Kenny, are going to be more unhappy after they skip the show, and it was the one show Jack White set in on.
