So pummmmped for this add! My 63 year old mother now wants to know if I have room in my RV. Beach Boys and Kenny Rogers?!?! During childhood car rides these were the tunes getting played!
I was lying in a burned out basement With the full moon in my eyes. I was hoping for replacement When the sun burst thru the sky. There was a band playing in my head And I felt like getting high.
Can he still sing? I know he had BAD fucking plastic surgery and disappeared for a while but can he sing? Barring conflicts I'm with the gang for the singalong

I actually have a history with Kenny. My ex-fiance was friends with Kenny's wife(young sexy wife, not sure which number). We went backstage at his concert at one of the Mississippi casinos. I got to meet Kenny and talk briefly. He was cool and rather funny.
A few months later My ex and I were forced to evacuate our home in New Orleans due to Katrina. We went to her mother's in Nashville. Kenny found out about this and gave her a job with his management company. His wife sent me two boxes of his clothes(they didn't fit). So Kenny's a great guy from my perspective
After my ex and I split, she married and soon divorced a member of his band.
As far as his being at 'Roo, I guess it's an OK add. I've always thought his music was pretty cheesy. That being said, I doubt there's ever been a more fun, sing-along chorus than the one from "The Gambler"
I gave most of them away as they didn't fit. I saved a jacket and one shirt that was red velvet with brass buttons. I figured it was an onstage shirt. I later gave it to a friend's wife who was a big fan.

This is one of those adds that makes me realize Bonnaroo is truly the most diverse festival in the country and there's really nobody they could put on a lineup that would shock me.
This is the first message board I've ever been on, the only reason I joined is because I love Bonnaroo and wanted to read and talk about it all year long.
He doesn't do the "Condition" song in concert usually. I guess if there was ever was a time to pull that one out and dust it off, Bonnaroo would be it.
