Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
I feel pretty confident when I say that Roo will not feature Jeff Dunham or Kathy Griffin. Ron White seems a long shot and so does Gallagher but both seem more likely than the first two
I agree with ya...I was just posting tour gaps. I wouldn't really want any of them.
I imagine we'll be getting Tosh, it makes sense for Bonnaroo to book him. They like to grab rising comics like him, which makes sense as to why they grabbed Swardson too, if that's true.
Someone e-mailed Tosh and his manager said he won't be at Roo.
Also, when asked about it Swardson said he was booked but will likely have to cancel.
But Eugene Mirman (Flight of the Conchords, Bob's Burgers, Delocated) is "confirmed" via Pollstar
Chris Rock, Jimmy Fallon, Conan. Who will the big name be? Could this be the year we get Colbert? MC on What?
I think the Conan thing fell into their lap because of the timing of his tour and stuff. If Conan never left NBC and didn't have the tour I wouldn't be surprised if they didn't have some BIG name last year.
I think it'd be great to have Colbert....he could be in character and pretend he hates the place. It could be a campaign to clean up hippies or something. Not sure if it'll happen.
If I had my way I'd have one of the two following Roo veterans get an hour on the main stage:
Louis C. K.
or
Zach Galifianakis
Both have gotten huge since originally playing Roo and both can handle an hour of standup very capably.
Also wouldn't be surprised to see Tim & Eric at the fest.
Someone in the late adds thread said Eugene Mirman was confirmed via Pollstar. I think he is absolutely hilarious.
Check out his standup if you haven't yet seen it.
Yeah, he's very original, and has a great way of delivering the jokes. He also does the boys voice on the show Bob's Burger, which has it moments of being good.
Funny story, I saw Eugene Merman at LAX Airport last year. Went up to say hi, and tell him I was a fan. I got within 10 steps of him, and totally blanked on his name. So I chickened out, but I tell people I met him
Comedians who are out of the running. Gabriel Iglesias - Booked in IN 6-10 thru Gallagher - Possibly out - Health reasons
Possibilities Lisa Lampanelli - No dates after June 6th - A personal fav of mine Doug Stanhope - nothing booked after 5-27 - He would also be a riot. Lewis Black - Open in June Conan - He did it last year, and he announced the line up this year, makes me think he's in Ralphie May
Ok, I guess I'll be the first to mention it, Charlie Sheen is touring in a similar way to Conan. Two dates currently scheduled (Detroit and Chicago) for April. It is supposed to be a comedy/variety show with a Q&A with the audience. I feel it would go over well in the Comedy Tent. And he would probably enjoy himself at 'Roo.
In all seriousness, I am hoping Louis C.K. is there. He could easily be highest billed comedian and is having a good year (Comedy special accepted into Sundance, Louie on FX).

But either way....there's a big difference here. Sheen has two dates scheduled but the way he's been behaving lately there's no telling if those shows will even happen until they actually do.
I hope it doesn't. I'm begging you're right and Louie comes back

I would love to see Zach come back but it would be incredible if the rest of the comedians of comedy came with him. Patton Maria Bamford Brian Posehn, all have really innovative styles and would be big adds for me.
I know it would be unlikely to have Aziz return for a third year in a row, but I don't think it's out of the question. Someone asked him over Twitter if he was going to be back at Bonnaroo this year, and he responded "If I can get another hour's worth of material together." He's doing a show at SXSW next week, but I don't know if it's old or new material.

lisa lampinella would be over the top hilarious. she would of course insult some PLUR hippy, who would yell out something stupid, and LL would decimate them in under 3 seconds.

TRAILER PARK BOYS!!!!!!
They're doing the "Drunk, High and Unemployed Tour" at Sasquatch. I know that's closer to Canada, but they're pretty big in the states now and would fit PERFECTLY!
I would definitely make it to the Comedy Tent if Jim Gaffigan came to the farm. But they would have to keep him hermetically sealed from the Tennessee sun.

hannibal buress' website has bonnaroo listed under his tour dates. he's not that well known yet but i listened to his album and it's honestly one of the funniest stand up albums i've ever heard. his website has videos so if you don't know who he is you can watch them and tell me if you think i have bad taste or not.
Emoney serves more of a purpose than any of you, especially Nate, whose incessant, garbled ramblings are so mindless and pointless that I get depressed just seeing them.
god, please no lisa lampanelli, I can't believe she has made a comedy set out of saying she quacks black guys over and over
She is so over-rated, i feel like she is popular in the same way that jersey shore is, idiotic shock value...repeat....idiotic shock value...annnnd repeat.... its funny how people cling to the most mindless things in this world.
