Yeah I shouldn't have said he set the tempo but I just don't like this arrangement at all. Waay to slow for the classic. Even though Grace obviously blows it out of the water but the drums and guitar are (imo) incredibly corny.
I just think Joe Satriani is cheap and corny and uses Leno-y fill ins to sound neat.

Looks good to me. I hope to hear some good jamming with long versions of Mr. Soul and Bluebird. T
There is a decent sounding BS show on sugarmegs.org that has a great Mr. Soul and Bluebird; both close to 8 minutes each.
I know this goes against the general flow, but I am really hoping for an entirely Buffalo Springfield setlist without any Neil Young solo material. Neil writes fantastic songs and his live show is great, but I want to see something I've never seen before.

Also, I effing love Richie Furay.
I'm not sure why everyone thinks we will be getting Neil solo songs. The two sets they played at Bridge School were all BS songs with Keep on Rockin as an encore (and even then it was a giant jamsession with the parties playing the festival).
Would it awesome? Yes but I just don't see it happening. What we have here is an opportunity to witness something that will in all likelihood be as rare a performance as Dr. John and the Meters. I wanna soak up as much of that as possible. This wasn't even on my bucketlist till last year becasue there wasn't any reason for it to be on my bucketlist. It was never even an inkling that it was possible.
Maybe I'm wrong though. Maybe they will play Neil songs as well.

I love Neil. I just really really really love Buffalo Springfield.
I kind of don't understand this. Neil's solo/Crazy Horse material is some of the deepest in any artist's catalog.
Like I said, I love Neil. I mean, I can't overstate that enough. Everybody Knows This Is Nowhere is one of my favorite albums of the 70s, and he is one of the few artists that puts out records today that are relevant and come close to being as good as his "heyday." I am a huge Neil Young fan.
But Buffalo Springfield is literally one of my favorite bands of all time. I mean, behind Paul Simon, there probably isn't a pop act I love more. Buffalo Springfield Again is at the pinnacle of my love for 60s rock and I love Richie Furay's voice and the guitar work of Stephen Stills. There isn't a song on Buffalo Springfield Again that I can't play on the guitar and bass. I have loved this band for a long time and seeing them play a reunion concert isn't something I EVER expected would happened.
This isn't a bandwagon I jumped on for Bonnaroo (and I'm sure that many of you are longtime BS fans, so I'm not accusing anyone of anything here.) This is one of my dream acts.
