I really thought that I was the only one who saw this. I just posted in the Mars Volta thread cause i was angry they are not on this addition list. Hrpmh, I would have made a thread about this, oh well.
I love this btw. Zappa plays Zappa, f*cking A Cotton.
Disco Biscuits, now we can dance at night. hell yeah.
Cat Power is wonderful as well.
We also certainly got some electronic music as well for eveyone, maybe not what everyone wanted, but something to keep us up at night. MSTRKRFT I don;t know too much about personally, but I've heard good things, and Chromeo is fun.

Can anyone recommend some albums from the bands just added? For Zappa Plays Zappa there is a huge catalogue of Frank Zappa music to delve in to. I personally prefer his instrumental albums. "Hot Rats" is great though!

the new cat power album "jukebox" is really fn good.
her own spin on a bunch of covers. but she definately makes them her own. i really dig.
While I love "You Are Free" and really like "The Greatest," Cat Power just flat out disappoints me live..especially now that her show (based on Echo Project back in October) consists pretty much exclusively of covers. Probably won't check it out unless there's nothing else at that time.

I couldn't be any happier with such a solid group of additions...
Chromeo and MSTRKFT will be GREAT for late night
and Cat Power was one of my favorite acts in...what was it, 06? She was one of the main non-Radiohead reasons for me to consider APW(that and the Roots and Girl Talk)
and I hear amazing things about Zappa Plays Zappa.
For Cat Power, check out the Greatest, Jukebox, or her first covers record.
