Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
So many good suggestions on here! Best suggestions I've seen so far (of those who've never played the Roo before) are
Explosions In The Sky (amazing) Daft Punk (even more so) Massive Attack (would be perfect I think) Band Of Horses (excellent) Sigur Ros (beautiful) Bob Dylan (wouldn't surprise me that much) and lastly...PORTISHEAD...I've wanted to see them for ages and Bonnaroo would be just amazing for them!
Some other suggestions that I don't think I've seen (although I haven't read every post):
Animal Collective (any fans out there? I think they'd be perfect for Bonnaroo) !!! (Even better than Hot Chip, seriously) LCD Soundsystem (Same deal as !!!) Boards of Canadas (although I bet someone mentioned this)
As for people that should return, I'll just mention two that I feel should be there EVERY year:
My Morning Jacket, so obvious Tortoise, I would die if they played a light night show, they should share it with some other awesome Post-rock band, would be the best trip ever.

Saw Pumpkins at Live Earth this weekend. Definitely headline material. Who needs psychedelic visuals when you've got Billy Corgan's creepy, glowing skull up on the Diamondvision ? Same goes with Roger Waters (who was surprisingly uncreepy... I'd always pictured him as the moody, tortured-artist type).
With your feet in the air and your head on the ground Try this trick and spin it, yeah Your head will collapse But there's nothing in it And you'll ask yourself
or maybe YOU are actually that so called secret solicitor ... and that's why you were helping spread the hype and also said it was a good first post... hmmmmmmmmmmm

yeh, The Pixies are pretty much amazing. Nice first post mrbacklund, welcome to the forum!
Thank you, seems like a cool place. I was so happy they got back together, but I was unable to see them at the time.

maybe mrbacklund is secretly a member of the pixies, and they've already been signed for next year and s/he's just spreading hype... hmmm...
I guess I could say I'm the fifth Pixie that nobody knows about, not even the band (that's how secret it is)!
I think they would be awesome at Bonnaroo. I think Pearl Jam would be a perfect fit, as would a little P-Funk.
"I'd be very up for doing a lot more. It was such fun. We went in and did some rehearsals, and the moment we plugged in for the first rehearsal, it was like putting on an old shoe.
I felt it was very important for me to do Live8, and I thought it was great to get onstage with the other three guys. I would something else in a heartbeat, but if it was for anything more than a few songs, then I think there would be some difficulties."
- Roger Waters on Pink Floyd at Live 8
Roger Waters alone would be awesome, but Pink Floyd.... dare to dream...

I have a pretty strong inkling My Bloody Valentine will be at Roo, they are reuniting and releasing an album in 2008. I have a questionable source but it seems likely.

9 July 07 RUMOUR: New album and tour in 2008? Several people have had a chance to run to Kevin Shields at various recent events (Meltdown, Moscow gig). Apparently Kevin told them that a new album and tour are in store for 2008. Supposedly the album is almost done. I'm hesitate to report this as the last big news that I reported was the 2 Boxset release that never happened, so take with with a grain of salt. I'm working on getting official word.
