Primus Les Claypool and his Fancy Band (Since that'd be the most likely candidate) MMW MMJ Soulive another Somethin' Else tent Mike Gordon feat. The Duo The Duo Buju Banton Galactic Ween Jazz Mandolin Project ....Can't think of all of 'em at this moment, but hose are the main ones.
Unknown Hinson... who quite frankly could play with about anyone esp. the superjam. Between his Hendrix hippy trip excursions and his chart toppin country/western songs Roo'ers would be in for a special treat. I'm still hoping for Dread Zeppelin also to keep the LZ theme going.
I won't include any bands that played this year, but here's a few I'd like to see in '08:
- My Morning Jacket - Built to Spill - Man Man - Yeah Yeah Yeahs - The New Pornographers - Liars - Okkervil River - the Shins - Modest Mouse - Peaches - Stone's Throw Records Hip-Hop extravaganza feat. MF DOOM, Madlib, PB Wolf, etc.
...and even though i'm not really into the jam bands, I do appreciate what they mean to Bonnaroo. So I hope for some great jam bands for all of those who dig on that.

Zampa... I think a lot of of those artists are going to be at Lollapalooza this year. OK... Maybe some of them. Muse, Daft Punk, LCD Soundsystem, TV On The Radio, and I think a few others will be at Lolla.

yeah I would like to get up to Chicago, but I've used up all my vacation on Roo '07 -
Cake would be a great late night... TV on the Radio and The New Pornographers would be great for the indie crowd... My Morning Jacket NEEDS to return, as does Trey... Man Man and Liars would be cool for the crazy crowd (love both of them, especially live)... And how about Daft Punk late night?!

First off, given their reunion and all, Bonnaroo 2008 is just Screaming for the Smashing Pumpkins. Other headliners I could see are Incubus and The Pixies.
Anyway, here's others I'm really pushing for:
The Pillows (from Japan): Seriously, bring out the J-rock Bonnaroo. It would be something unprecidented in Bonnaroo history (I'm pretty sure, at least). This band is pure bliss, and I'm sure people (from hardcore Pillows fans to innocent bystandards) would lose control of their bowels due to how good this band is.
Daikaiju (local to the Tennessee Valley region): This would be a good band for one of the smaller stages. It would be sporting the local (or regional) music scene. They're an instrumental monster-themed surf-rock band. On top of that, they're amazing technical musicians. They'd be perfect.
Anamanaguchi: This is a band in the 8-bit music scene. They use actual NES soundchips on top of live instruments for their shows. What ensues is an amazing blend of 8-bit and pop-rock. With the backing of a big screen behind them putting on an 8-bit light show, this could make for an excellent late night performance. If not this band, a band or bands like this.
Others that would be great are Peelander-Z, The Apples in Stereo, Neutral Milk Hotel, Of Montreal, The Aquabats, Do Make Say Think, Jimmie's Chicken Shack, and Mindless Self Indulgence (would make for an awesome late night show).
Late Nights: The Avalanches, DJ Shadow, Aphex Twin, Mars Volta, Flaming Lips, M83, Animal Collective, etc
Elsewhere: Arcade Fire Antony & the Johnsons a reunited Neutral Milk Hotel reunited Mr. Bungle ...and You Will Know Us By The Trail of Dead Her Space Holiday The Postal Service Interpol Bonnie "Prince" Billy Sufjan Stevens Broken Social Scene Sigur Ros My Morning Jacket (w/symphony) Xiu Xiu Panda Bear mewithoutYou The Album Leaf Cat Power Charlotte Gainsbourg Stars a reunited Ben Folds Five Ghostface Killah Mew Iron & Wine
