Prince would be a very interesting addition to the line-up. I don't know how well he would be recieved, though. Don't get me wrong, I think it would be amazing and i'd be right-up front. I just don't know if enough people would feel the same. (Maybe I just don't have enough faith in people)
I honestly think we could see Dave Matthews & Friends headline Bonnaroo again this year...in fact I'm making an extremely off the wall prediction with absolutely no information to back me up that they will be there.
Reason: D&F won't have played a show together since last february when they did a show in the Bahama's for their "Dave Matthews and Friends Carribean gettaway" cruise. They are past due for a show, and Bonnaroo is the perfect place for it.
i am not sure i would want to see prince at roo, but i saw him about 2-3 years ago and it would rank as one of the top 3 shows i have ever seen. there is no living performer like him.
i don't think he will be there either. he built his own club in vegas and i am pretty sure he plays there on friday and saturday nights.

With PJ out, and the Police rumors remaining shaky, I'm still holding out hope for Peter Gabriel. I don't know if there's anything I would rather see than that if given the opportunity.
the coolest thing is superfly can get ANY artist to play this show. i keep telling myself to think of the biggest band in each genre and that is who could headline. it makes it pretty exciting, but two weeks to find out is going to kill me...
except grace potter isnt country or bluegrass. and i wouldnt call ween pop. but every band on there is certainly a possibility to play. except jay -z and ludacris.

I think jay z would be pretty sweet at bonnaroo. Although i've never seen him in person, iv seen videos of his show, and they're actually pretty sweet. What i've seen he plays with like a 4 man band plus a dj (perhaps danger mouse guesting), and its a nice preformance.
Anyways, even though I said different, I could see Tool playing alongside the Police. I don't really have any new news or anything concrete, but the Police just feel right in every way for me. I'm also guessing that Bonnaroo keeps their pattern of one modern rock group, and with the sunday night probably going to an older jamband, and my Saturday going to the Police, I think Tool would work for Friday night. You'd probably get a lot of "WTF?" kinds of comments on throwing the Police and Tool into the same festival, but from what I can tell they would both put on good performances.
Also worth mentioning - the Coachella lineup is getting a lot of attention not just because of Rage, but because of the overall depth of the lineup. RATM is great but Bjork and RHCP would be "so what?" headliners if not for all of the great acts underneath them. I'm guessing Bonnaroo busts their butt to do the same, working all the time to stay America's biggest festival. With that being said, I could see something like:
Bigger Support Acts - should include something like half: Ben Harper, Tom Waits, Bob Dylan, String Cheese Incident, Trey, Primus, Black Crowes, Allman Brothers, Flaming Lips, Willie, The Killers, Arcade Fire
