Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
not that i'm a fan, but eric clapton could be a headliner seeing how he has been on tour now for about a year and they are still confirming dates periodically with the latest date being april now i think
I'm done speculating on headliners or any acts for that matter bc it's too much of an emotional rollercoaster.......haha....no one seems to know much anyway............we shall see on Feb. 14th!!!
PJ never really made sense to me for the same reasons Phish don't make sense to some: they seem to like to do their own thing touring wise. I'm not saying they wouldn't headline a stateside festival, but I'll believe it when I see it actually happen.
Tool's an interesting, if unlikely, possibility. Last year, there was fear that Radiohead would bring in a different element, but Tool? You have to figure that would just blow the doors off the van... I'm not saying it won't or couldn't happen, but I'm just not sure Bonnaroo wants a metal headliner. It brings total different security issues into play.
*tool fans would be some chill mofos and they'd end up liking some other types of music if they didn't already. *dave and phriends > dmb *panic should play late night which stage *the police are meh IMO, but my girlfriend wants them SOOO bad (but really only to hear roxanne) *i want to see SCI
*i like coconuts, you can break them open they smell like ladies lyin in the sun** *Hell I don't even know where I am** *for now I must sit here and ponder the yonder: The herbivores did well cause their food didn't never run** *We listen, if it feels good We shake** *You made a big impression for a girl of your size, Now I can't get by without you and your big brown eyes.**

...and Mars Volta was virtually unnoticed at Bonnaroo... (go ahead and tell me how much you love MV now, but...) no one talked about Mars Volta, dude! If there is any justice, Dave will quit music and Radiohead will headline and save Bonnaroo!!

Actually The Mars Volta had a huge buzz around them at Bonnaroo '05.
I wish Superfly had the balls to put TOOL out there as a headliner. That being said, I love the Mars Volta, but the reason they worked, and same with Sonic Youth, is they were not the only bands playing their time slot. TOOL basically can only headline. I just don't think Superfly has the balls to have them as one of their headliners.

...yeah, the whole "different vibe" argument is prevalent. But a lot of people seem to really be up for TOOL. With Pear Jam out, I feel like TOOL is likely.

Just a thought, but, each year Bonnaroo restores my faith in damn near everything. And I just know, that AC is gonna hook us up with a kickass headliner. Here's to keeping the faith for another mind blowing, face melting, B.O and fudge-toes weekend in paradise!!!
Man I know I hoped for Elton John too, but he's gonna be in Europe the Roo weekend. I think Billy Joel is actually a decent possibility, he's on this big tour (much like Petty) and I'm pretty sure would be big enough to fill the first night roll (rock legend.)
Radiohead (should) have a new album out this year. They had a fantastic time last year and I know that it is very unlikely that they'd headline two years in a row....but that would just be fantastic.
Tool would work nicely too. Are they even touring this year?

id love to see them again too. but they played a bunch of songs that are going to be on the new album at roo. so i doubt a return is likely for a couple years. we can hope though.

aerosmith could fill a headlining spot, but i don't want them at bonnaroo, they probably cost way too much, i wouldn't want bonnaroo to spend that kind of money on them, the money could be used better on someone else
I had some buddies that saw them at ACL 03 and said that alot of the crowd walked out on them because it was a bad show. That is all the feedback I've ever heard on them live though, so if anyone else has seen them and had a good experience I'd like to hear it, because I have always wanted to see them but haven't heard anything positive yet.
