If they actually were in the sub time slot the stage crowd would probably be pretty full though with Tyler fans. I did think No Doubt and Blur would have more of a crossover than it does though.

they also aren’t helping themselves with this set list. I’m a massive Blur fan but they’re leaving Coffee, Parklife, Universal, End of a Century, Country House and a lot more on the table.

I meant sub not sun, and I thought that because they were both at their height of popularity around the same time. Even if they’re not sonically similar, I thought that’d help them out a little bit. One of the gals I used to camp with bought tickets just because of No Doubt though. She has informed me her and her fellow lesbians of California are massive Gwen fans though. She wasn’t out when we used to camp in the same group. Which explains why she had no clue the band was in Dreamcar when they played Coachella, but she has a No Doubt tattoo.
Oasis reunion would sell out arenas all across the US, not even a close call. Multiple dates in major metros.
This seems way overly optimistic. Outside the top 4-5 biggest cities in North America, I don't think Oasis sells out much else. No way they're selling out Charlotte or Kansas City or Denver, much less smaller markets.
my pitch for if they keep booking “sleepy” headliners is give them 2hours in the sunset slot silence other stages if necessary. the festival always has a crowd that wants to end the night dancing so no matter how good the headliner is if they have a song with a grandpa guitar or no light show it will be deemed an L

Yea like the sandwich said before, I don’t think they’d sell out the pizza arena in Detroit based off of their prior bookings here. The reunion factor would help, but we don’t have a lot of bands come through and sell out the arena unless they’re classic rock. I could see them doing fine in Cleveland or Milwaukee though. Th rest of the Midwest would probably be a waste of time.

Every reddit sub seems to take turn into questionable hate. I’m not a fan of her music or the show she put on either weekend, but I don’t know anything about her personally and I’ve got nothing against her. Her crowd didn’t seem light on the stream either weekend either. From the shots of the rail on the stream, it looked like a lot of people were there for her and loved it. Reddit subs just always go south. Anyone who followed the fighter and the kid saga got a first row seat to how shitty people can be on the internet.

Reddit in general kinda hates women. I mean, communities like that literally gave birth to incels.
But yeah, I’ve noticed they give female artists very little or no chance, especially POC women. Before the performances, Ice Spice and Doja Cat got so much hate for pretty petty reasons.

These show reviews for him are crazy. He’s generally a really boring live show. I wonder if he really wanted to bring it at Coachella or if he’s turning a corner with his live performances. I didn’t catch him on stream either week.

Just got home from work and rewound to the Gesaffelstein and there definitely should have been a disclaimer before the show. I’ve never experienced a seizure from strobes but I’ve had to look away from the goddamn tv several times. I do love the way his last two shows have used simple visuals in a way that actually fucks with your mind but someone has had to have had an epileptic episode to this within the last 2 weeks. Beginning of the set sounds like mid tier Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross, but I enjoy it still.
