it’s so funny that Blur basically drew flies when they headlined 2013, haven’t gotten any more popular, Coachella’s audience has gotten younger, and yet anyone is surprised by them having no crowd
they also aren’t helping themselves with this set list. I’m a massive Blur fan but they’re leaving Coffee, Parklife, Universal, End of a Century, Country House and a lot more on the table.
Even more upset now of the Blur vs Oneothrix conflict, Oneothrix looks incredible
i really wish he wasnt playing a hella shitty transphobic venue ive vowed not to return to in my city cause i’d see him next week if not. that being said, def dont regret seeing blur over him because i dont foresee them touring extensively again

the crowds not small because of their setlist though, the crowd is small because hardly anyone there knows who the fuck Blur is.

yeah they should’ve done a three week tour, hit NYC Boston Chicago Atlanta Texas LA etc and been done. They didn’t need to do this.

Oh it’s definitely not the best set list off casuals.
Also Damon Albarn just straight up said “the media tried to make it seem like I said I’d never come back to Coachella, that’s nonsense, I love Coachella” lol
I think if they really promote the shit of them they could do better than that, but I remember seeing them in a not full theater in Detroit and I agree they’re not a sure thing

I think their ego would demand huge arenas so I could see a multiple date residency like Stone Roses did. Maybe throw in Chicago and Toronto. They’d sell out multiple stadium nights in Mexico. The crowd for Noel Gallagher at Corona Capital was massive.
