Coachella is like Disney. You’re not going to hear about every death that takes place there. There was a girl a few years back that got heat stroke and was rushed out by EMS and didn’t make it.

supЯefan forgive me if this is a dumb question, but I noticed the vast majority of your pics are from house right. I get that center is probably not usually feasible, but is there a logistical reason you don't do more from the left? Or is it just a preference thing?

Haha my interview didn't make it but my wife and I are definitely visible in the Skepta section and my (super cool) tent neighbor is in the Steve Angello section.
I met TPD briefly while in the Guest area for Kid Cudi, they were all sitting down looking absolutely exhausted lol. I know they get guest passes these days, so seems a bit weird to have their videos still be from the perspective of your every-man.
Assume they are still paying ga pass prices and GV is upgrading them to guest since they’ve made the connection. Do they even mention that’s what they have, don’t recall? I’ve set up pass orders for friends like that in the past.

They are showing from the access most watching/swayed to attend would be able to acquire is my guess.

Guess where it was empty at every stage? That side. You just go where theres space and proximity. Only one which had any "plan" was No Doubt which then included Blur. Center isnt even ideal anyway for most acts. It just ended up being what happened this year and thats not how itll always shake out.

I ran into them on the walk to Cudi after TBS and yes, they looked so tired lol.

I don't believe they ever mention they have guest passes. Their video last year they mentioned how they got an upgrade, but from the moment they're putting on their wristbands, they have Guest passes.

Makes me wonder how much of their content is them having to forcefully hype themselves up for the camera. Their videos sure make it look like they are just go go go for 4 days straight. I'm not sure what their substance choices (if any) are for Coachella, but man they really look like they need to lay off the booze and just get high and stay hydrated for a night or two lol.

They put the booze on film but one of them had enormous pupils in last year's video...but tbh I think they are mainly boozing. At this point they are 100% being sponsored by Coachella though, they had an official Coachella videographer with them when I met them. One of them told me something slightly derogatory about their experience (really nothing that bad) and after saying it, looked around panicking for the videographer who was far enough away that they didn't hear. The guest passes are 100% comped. I asked if they write off their drinks and passes and they were like "that is the most American thing to ask ever".

That feels like Raz thing to say lol. But even when I first ran into them at Aquabats the day before, they did not look like they were into the set at all. Except for Choccy actually lol. But you would’ve thought they were witnessing a funeral instead of the fucking Aquabats.
I don’t wanna give them too hard of a time though because at the end of the day they’ve gone to 90 freaking festivals, and Coachella - weather wise - might be one of the harder ones for dudes who grew up in cloudy ass Manchester.
Also when I told Jake it’s so freaking hot, he did look at me with a smile on his face and say “yep, but is there anywhere else in the world you’d rather be?” And I thought that was a great way to look at it.

Being forced to go see The Aquabats and to say theyre just a kids band was funny.

Which makes the latest video quite a head scratcher considering the overarching theme was, "Let's see how much and how often we can smuggle shit into the festival. Also, here are tips to outsmart security!"
