Got mine a few days ago before a week start... waiting till I can confirm the covid booster is the new branch. Probably November unless asked/told in October
Is it possible to catch Covid twice in the span of a month?
Asking for a friend.
I read once that they don’t recommend testing within 3 months of a confirmed infection because it’s way to easy to get a false positive. But it can happen and there are also other non Covid things unfortunately

Yep as far as non COVID things, I just got over a garden variety cold with cough (did PCR test to confirm it wasn't COVID, nor was it RSV or flu), felt weird to have one after four years. Anyway, just got the new COVID vax - Moderna for the first time (my other five were all Pfizer), hopefully no side effects with this one either.

I hate how much the pandemic brought illness to the forefront of my mind. It was more mentally comfortable back pre-2020 when I was sick a lot, but never once felt this responsibility to cancel doing things I enjoy or isolate from people to prevent speeding it. I get that the new way is far better for society overall, it’s just difficult to manage it mentally and set realistic expectations for yourself. Like there are very few major events in my life since the pandemic I can remember going to where there wasn’t a little voice of doubt making me worry that I was being irresponsible going out while having XYZ symptom. I’ve gotten better at managing it because I’ve realized in general most people don’t give enough of a shit to skip stuff they want to do for me, so if I occasionally accidentally go out with Covid or the flu I’ll give myself a break.

A friend of mine got Covid two weeks ago. She took Paxlovid and symptoms went away in about a day. Then she started feeling really sick yesterday and tested positive again. Rebounds are possible and Paxlovid can increase the chance some.

This study shows that you can rebound both after Paxlovid and an untreated case of COVID, although it's higher with Paxlovid. Still, in either case, your odds of not rebounding are above 80%.

I’m taking the silver lining that it’s actually a real good time to get sick for me. No real plans I have to cancel and the weather here is going to be horrid this weekend so I’d have wanted to stay in anyways.
My booster appointment has been canceled 3 times now due to lack of supply. Leaving this rollout up to the private sector is going just great so far.
Crap. I just had to cancel ours that was scheduled for tomorrow because my kid woke up with a stuffy nose, now I'm thinking maybe I should've just gone for mine anyway, but too late now!
So there were a couple days in Chicago where I had a scratchy throat and some sinus issues. Turns out it was just allergies. The allergy rating there was above normal last weekend.
Least it's not Covid again. I'm good with that for a while.
