A company can't implement policies that violate local laws.
I dont think these policies violate the local law. Or at least Live Nation doesnt think so
I was speaking to the broader "A company can implement any policy that they want" part, but if Florida law says you can't have vax/mask mandates, wouldn't a policy mandating vax or masks violate that law?

One of the blogs I read shared these two bits of Covid-related schadenfreude this morning:
Alaska state Sen. Lora Reinbold (guess which party) is a big fan of corporations being allowed to do whatever they want, until such time that they want to enforce mask mandates. Then, like Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde, she immediately transforms into Che Guevara, and tries to stick it to The Man. Alaska Airlines grew tired of fighting with her over her refusal to keep her mask on, and so they banned her from their airline.
As many readers know, Alaska is none-too-easy to traverse without air travel. Further, Alaska Airlines has the only regularly scheduled route between Reinbold's home in Anchorage and the state capitol in Juneau. As a workaround, she drove 700 miles through none-too-safe-to-drive terrain, and then took a 5 hour ferry. That's replacing a commute of less than 2 hours with one that takes about 20 hours. Totally worth it, right? If Reinbold does not change her mind, or the muckety-mucks at Alaska Air don't change theirs, she's either going to have to quit her job or commit to regularly making the worst commute in America that does not involve the George Washington Bridge.
State Sen. Lora Reinbold was quarantining Tuesday night at home, where she told her Facebook friends she was “completely unimpressed” with CDC guidance to take Tylenol and decided to concoct her own “recipe.”
“Its my turn to battle Covid head on… game on! Who do you think is going to win? When I defeat it, I will tell you my recipe,” the Republican pol posted, before going on to list her “recipe” of unsanctioned treatments.
“I am taking lots of vitamins ABCD & Quercitin & zinc citrate. Vit E and aspirin to reduce clotting. I am blessed to have gotten Ivirmectin the ‘de -covider,'” the 57-year-old wrote.

Speaking of vitamin deficiency, or in my case, a mineral deficiency, it took me almost 2 months of being on an iron supplement to finally get my ferritin up to "low normal." I imagine that it would take even another month or so to get it even better. Also, not all supplements are created equal- some don't absorb as well others, some are half crap and barely do anything at all.
My Mom's vitamin D (like a lot of older people) was in the basement, she tested like well below where it should be. Her doctor put her on some prescription viatamin D, like 5 times the amount in the store bought brand and told her that he wouldn't even retest again for a couple of months because it takes at least 1 month or so for the deficiency to be get corrected.
So, my point is, does all of a sudden taking a slew of vitamin supplements at the onset of getting sick really help considering to my experience and from what doctors have said, it takes weeks before they actually build up enough to start working? Most Americans are deficient in something or many things. And it takes awhile to get on the right supplement and diet to correct it and feel better. So I seriously doubt that loading up while sick is going to do much of anything, especially if it's in a low quality form.

Pretty skeptical of vitamin supplements in general, because my dad uses them, and he seems wrong about basically everything.
Lol. Also, alot of people buy some pretty shit supplements on the market that have virtually zero benefit.
There are good supplements out there though that are independently tested to have the quality ingredients they claim to have. NatureMade is probably the best and most thoroughly tested, based on what I have gathered. I have felt better since correcting some deficiencies and I mostly use this brand. I have also tried eating better- which is way more important than supplements.

I feel like everything I’ve ever read on it has said that taking vitamin supplements in general has very little effect on your overall health. I assume that there are some benefits to some supplements, like if there’s a specific deficiency, but I’m under the impression that things like multivitamins are basically useless.

“I always tell people I’d rather go down with COVID than the vaccine,” she said. “I realize I could die from COVID, but I would rather have things take their natural course.”
Says the dumbass with asthma and an auto-immune condition who quit her $80K job, sold her home, bought a trailer and moved to Florida to avoid a vaccine mandate.
I mean, how has she been a pharmacist and not given shots? Or does she give flu shots but not COVID. And how dare she put her questionable moral conflicts before the health of her patients.

At least she isn't trashing vaccines so that nobody can get them like that other pharmacist. Admittedly, that a very low bar of human decency.

I'm trying not to sweat what's going on in the UK with the AY.4.2 Delta sub-lineage, but after we've been burned so many times...I dunno. It's hard not to worry we're in for another wave.
Also, Pfizer dose 3 hit me almost as hard as Pfizer dose 2. Chills, body aches, a night of terrible sleep with fever dreams. I guess this is just a thing with me. Still worth it.

interesting, i had a really rough reaction to the 2nd but not to the third. wonder if having had the breakthrough case 2 months ago lessened the symptoms
