My wife and I most definitely would like to help out with some planning but seeing as how this is our first Roo experience, we don't really know what to expect or how previous brunches have been organized.
We will defintely bring some food/beverages to contribute, and anything else that is required.
More than likely it will just end up with all of us sitting around drinkin in the mornings lol
Sounds like all the best brunches I've been to !! Most excellent
I volunteer BennyandJess to organize the brunch, lol. Let's just try to set up something simple - it doesn't have to be elaborate. I wish I had more time between now and Bonnaroo to volunteer to set it up myself but I'm crazy busy with work.
I'll be happy to bring some food and drinks though!

I will be doing a test pack this weekend. In the event that there is enough extra space in my small SUV, I will bring my portable gas grill, which is this. It is large enough that I use it at home as an actual grill. I will update once I am sure.
Regardless, I have 3 pounds of bacon. And you can't go wrong with bacon and booze.

I would suggest a potluck brunch and booze buffet, sit and stand, munch and mingle style event.
We are traveling pretty light but will be bringing lots of plastic cups, shots glasses, foil and plastic wrap, 2 liters of maple syrup + bacon, small camp stove, and other meal prep related instruments.
What time and where have the previous brunches happened? Is there typically a centralized gathering point at camp where we can fry up and such?

Last year I ended up building a kitchen/serving area in the middle of all the tents and we set up Saturday morning ~11AM and cooked/laid out the stuff that everyone had made.
But if you look at the beginning of the thread, a good amount of coordination was performed.
Welcome back Bonz, but I do not find it strange that your presence being requested in the Orgy thread and then you showing up, like it was the quacking Bonzai Bat Signal.
Ah... well I'll be the guy with the Pickled Jalapeno with Bacon Bloody Mary's if anyone cares to join me.
That sounds disgustingly delicious! Haha we are very interested and curious to explore the different types of cuisines/drinks/?...? that you all enjoy. Will be a fascinating and enriching culture shock.

It's just a Bloody Mary, except you use bacon and a pickled pepper as the garnish. I had one in Asheville, NC that had applewood smoked bacon, pickled okra, and hot sauce in it and was hooked. The saltiness of the bacon and spice/tartness of the pickled pepper... Trust me, it's pretty damn good if you like a spicy Bloody Mary.
bennyandthejess you're off to a good start - things are starting to come together. I think we should first pick a time (I suggest 10:30 since there is a show I would like to see at 12, haha).
Next, we should just categorize what people are bringing by 1. Food 2. Drinks 3. Miscellaneous (chairs, hammocks, music, etc.)

We appreciate your supportive and encouraging words!
Not much originality between Jess and I, so we will pretty much lift the existing template and format from the previous year. Will send out some more details and general info requests after the kids are out for the night.

No rush.... We still have about 15 days until we all depart! If we all bring something we should all be good.
We still haven't decided what we are going to bring/make. I was thinking some margarita's but I have a feeling we will already be set on the alcohol front and do we really need to get that hammered at 11am!? Ha maybe we do. We also for the most part don't eat read meat so maybe we will be the ones we bring a healthier option? Maybe we can make a big Kale salad or something.... We'll come up with something over the next few days though and get it on the list.

Looking forward to it!
While I don't advise getting drunk at 10-11am, there's nothing like a few cocktails in the morning to ease into the day.
Bring that Kale salad for sure. Baby spinach and whatnots. Mmmm.
Count me & Sydney in! We can help out with the bloody marys (since there will be lots of us & one can only do so much) only with dilly beans & secret sauce. I have a Bluetooth music player if needed & we will come up with something good to bring, food wise. How do people feel about foreman grilled bagels & cream cheese? Oh, and iced tea! I am the queen of sun tea, and lord knows there will be plenty of sun there!
