I'll let my brother in smoke confirm, but it is looking like we're doing a 15 hour smoke pork shoulder for this. I've got the smoker and the smoke. Slashdot, once we're done with that (we'll take it off about 9am), you want to grill your apricot things?
I'm trying to do something neat with decorations for our camp, but I'm not sure if it is going to work right now (there is an engineering issue) so I hate to commit. If nothing else, I'll have a 15 ft flag pole covered in streamers
Ok change of plan on this. The meat won't come off til about 11.
I missed this the first time around. I will grill my apricot things whenever I can They are so easy.
I unfortantuley will not be able to contribute much; but I will lend our stove top, pots, pans, and cooking utensils such as spatchulas or cooking spoons!
Awesome! That's the one thing I'm worried we won't have enough of.
Okay- so, put us down for roughly 1 Qt of eggs (free range chicken egg - farm fresh from one of our group). (This is in addition to previously listed contribution.)

In other news, I have over 300 jello shots finished. I think these last two batches I'm doing tonight will get me to the 500 level. I still have the ingredients to make more, but no more room in my coolers!

Okay, after looking over the list, here is what I suggest for people that want to bring something, but don't know what.
-Butter -Anything that has bacon or decadent pork products (Travel Channel has requested this) -Fresh fruit -Anything that does not need to be cooked -A pretty sign declaring the location of the Camp Inforoo VIP Brunch -A bag of nice, fresh ice for drinks -Tables and work spaces
I am giving a rough count of 62 people attending (Double the amount of the poll, since you can't put extra members of your party on there). I am HELLA excited about this weekend! I can't wait to meet everyone! Be careful on your drives!
Not sure if you got me on the mini propane tanks but I will provide at least 1-2. I am bringing 4 bottles and have no stove or cookables myself so fuel is what I will be bartering with

Yes, I have your canisters. How long does one last? Will one power a two-burner stove for several hours? I use my camp stove so rarely that I have no idea.

Okay guys, I am packing up my shit and hitting the road pretty soon. This will be my last post. I will see all of you in the Camp Inforoo VIP camp area at 11:30 on Saturday! I'm so excited to meet all of you!

To everyone that participated in the brunch: thank you! This was the first time for the event and I thought it was AWESOME. Tons of good food and more bacon than any bacon-loving person could ever possibly finish. A double thanks goes to everyone that brought supplies and cooked. Let's do this again next year!
I would have to say this was a great success, especially for our first time trying to do this. Great job putting this together glitterous. Somehow I missed out on the monte cristos, but the jello shots made up for it and very well could have been the cause too

Thanks, Mike! It was nothing compared to all you did and DJ cooked most of my bacon. I hope we do this again next year!
I, too, missed the monte cristos. Lucky for me, Cam likes to chef it up and he made some on Monday.
The two of us had a blast and are already planning for next year. I need to be more intentional about mingling next time!
glitterous - You totally saw the most embarrassing moment of my whole weekend, which is to say, at least jumping up and down at Macklemore and knocking a chair over was the worst blackmail anyone might have on me.

Will be bringing to large bottles of some of the finest, purest, Canadian maple syrup - direct from the source. Planning on having 8-10lbs of bacon for brunching deliciousness for all!! Let us know if there is anything else that's needed. See you down on the farm!
