Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
There was talk in chat of a camp-out for the New England/Northeast faction of inforoo. Right now I'm just seeing if anyone else would be interested in this, or has any dates/campgrounds to suggest!
I'd be SO down although I really have no suggestions. The only places that I have camped the past few years was at a sucky state place in RI and on an island by the Cape. (My work schedule impedes on camping normally, so it doesn't happen nearly as much as I would like!)
Welcome back Bonz, but I do not find it strange that your presence being requested in the Orgy thread and then you showing up, like it was the quacking Bonzai Bat Signal.
Bunny, I'm thinking after, maybe mid or late August? I was consider a state park here in Western MA or southern VT or NH. Those are just the area's im personally familiar with, but if there's one in CT or RI that someone knows of feel free to speak up.
^ oh, boo! I was hoping for a September weekend...when it's cooler, and when the Southeastern Contingency doesn't have a camping weekend of our own planned! How can we invade if we're previously engaged? Grrr!

After research I found out that VT, NH, and CT have state parks that allow alcohol, but MA and RI are out. It's really gonna come down to where everyone is coming from, we have plenty of time to figure it out.

Good thinking. I'm pretty sure I had to sneak my beers. I don't plan on doing that again.

I was hoping for a MA campsite so we wouldn't have to sneak corn either! I'm sure I can find one that allows alcohol and is nice and private, secluded in the woods. I found a couple that have group sites, which may work out best for us.

^ Are you guys wanting a mountain-y state park or a beach-y area? Hammonassett (in Madison) and Rocky Point (East Lyme) are both nice. I never camped there since I lived on the CT coast, but family & friends would stay on the beach in Lyme and it's beeeeeautiful. ;D
Love ocean camping! Know some great places in Maine, but would be pretty far up for a lot of y'all. And for what it's worth, I don't think many places in Maine/VT/NH, take reservations for after Labor Day. Not sure how Mass/CT work, but i think its more of they are still open til about Columbus day, but you can't reserve anything. So if there is a freak 80 degree and sunny weekend between then, it could be hard to get something.

I asked around at work today, and a lot of people said to go to Rocky Point. I checked it out online and I really like it, and it's got a beach for those that wanna go swimming. Anyone have objections?
