Wilco was dynamite on Friday, I only wish I could have gone to both shows. There was one thing that I noticed about this show that I rarely see anymore. I didnt see ONE single person with their bloody cell phone up taking photos or vidoe taping!!!! Im not sure if it is a rule at Massey Hall?? ( I dont remeber from my previous visits). It is rare that you can go to a show without seeing the face of someones BB or Iphone blocking your view for half the show. Kudos to those who were in attendance strictly to enjoythe music!!!

I remember the Monsters of Folk tour had very strict no camera/phone policies and anytime anyone tried to use one ushers came rushing up and just said it had to be put away.
I don't mind someone using their phone or taking a photo/video during a song. If they keep it up all night then it gets annoying.
Like you Laggy, I have never listened to Wilco before, but after they were in the Jumble(word game found in the news paper), the guy in the cartoon was wearing a Wilco shirt, the other day, I am thinking I need to check them out. Well, the Jumble did not do that, but this thread has me interested.
The new album is streaming for the rest of the week on NPR. You have no excuse.
^how about I am working tonight and tomorrow, then on Wednesday I am heading to Blackwater? And work has once again temporary kicked me off inforoo and I am typing from my phone.
Edit: work not likey inforoo, but work computer is cool with NPR.

I remember when I saw LCD, Murphy said something about, "You're welcome to have cameras or cell phones out, but I feel like if you're trying to record the show, you can't really be part of the show. But I suppose that's your decision, so whatever."
We're all a mess of paradoxes. Believing in things we know can't be true. We walk around carrying feelings too complicated and contradictory to express. But when it all becomes too big, and words aren't enough to help get it all out, there's always music.
