Bonnaroo virgin (me, Stacey) and my wife (Rebecca) will be going VIP this year! We can't wait! This group sound amazing and I am excited about camping with all of you this June!
Its only the greatest camp EVER!!! typically we will have anywhere from 15-20 cars that all meetup early Thursday morning and caravan in together around 9-10. Having a large number of cars allows us to really set up an awesome site, especially with the grids that are laid out for us. There are some VIP vets that go as well as new members here. It is also a way for folks on here to actually meet and hang out with each other outside of the interwebz. As of now Scrogg is getting all of us together in this thread and I will be requesting some information from everyone and will put together the logistics of meeting up, getting in and general site setup. Scrogg will also be helping draw up the plans of the actual site. Others will help out with various aspects of this, but that is the basic idea of it - awesomeness (and safety) in numbers!!!
Sassbox and Idio have the plans from previous years (I think).

I have the PDF if ya need it (Drink in the hand by Noon!). Anyone interested in trying to contact superfly/AC ahead of time and let them know we are coming? May have a little easier time parking that way.
I still have the PDF's from last year but I just got Adobe premiere and photoshop (from the lovely PopsicleSarah) so I may make some new stuff when we decide on our theme.
As far as contacting them for a reserved spot of sorts, I guess it couldn't hurt. Even though the VIP section is a fraction of the total attendance, I don't see them really working with us too much. I could be wrong, but it would take Bonnaroo agreeing and passing it on to the parking company who in turn will have to pass it on to volunteers. Seeing how inforoo is the official board for Bonnaroo though it could be worth a shot. Who is good at PR??
Bunny, we all know you are super excited . . . . you have been bouncing around in that avatar box for quite some time now. At least you don't have the extra weight of the santa hat anymore to slow ya down!!
^^who ever speaks with AC, get us a spot on the corner.
To be honest, I want as little responsibility in planning camp Inforoo VIP 2011, (to be named at a later date), as possible. If any VIP vets or anybody else wants to organize/plan than by all means step in( Big thanks MikeD ;D and you to Daniroo, there appears to be a fierce battle over in the VIP camp theme voting thread Don't forget to vote!). In my excitedness(yes, that is a word), I created this thread, which means I got to finish what I started. I have committed myself to help make this the best Camp Inforoo VIP 2011, EVER! So I am thinking big, like some big shade big, like carpeted big. Yes, I said carpeted, will get into that later. I like being able to lay down and not worry about wet grass, which could give the BonnarooRash. Also, I see lights, lots of lights, string lights, lots of glowie, visual stimulation is key(Ray, I like the led lights! )Colors, lots of colors. I encourage everyone to participate in this. I would like to see some creativity. This is your camp and it should have your touch on it. If there is something you want to bring or something you might want show off, please do. As theme or not I still would love to see an }El wire{ dinosaur! Lets see some costumes! (yes, theme will decide this) I think we should be loud and proud and "turn that sh!t up!" That means a big flag. I want to be able to walk out of the porta john over by the Which stage and be able to see our flag, yes, over the trees. Then at night time, I want to be able to say,"you see the that over there?" "holy crap" "That beacon over there. That is where we are." I want people to say, "hey, did you see what Camp Inforoo VIP 2011 was doing?" "Yes I did and they f'ing looked good doing what they were doing." This is the 10th anniversary, I think that means a lot and camp should show it. Lets hear some ideas. Questions?
-Meet-n-greet, has there been one in the past? If plan "Drink in the hand by Noon!" is "right on time", then meet-n-greet a beer past noon?
-"Scrog, can I bring a pink flamingo lawn ornament?" No, you have to bring at least two. Why? Have you ever been the only pink flamingo at a party?
-How about a group pot-luck dinner type thing? I think with the mayhem of Bonnaroo this might be difficult, but depending on the schedule, a dedicated group could make something like this happen. Bunny's brunch, this sounds good!

Scored VIP tix. My 3rd year, first in VIP. I would love to get in on the camp inforoo thing but I don't know if my buddy and I will be able to get to the meet up point in time (we are flying down from Toronto or Buffalo early Thursday morning).
Either way I'll be the guy wearing a Blue Jays hat and wearing a Shining shirt in the VIP camp. Come by and say heh
Call it the payment plan, but my tix are on lay-a-way.
While waiting I was checking out some furniture made out of 4'x8' sheets of ply wood, it's called PlayaTech It use no screw or nails, it folds up flat, and it fits together like a puzzle.
Hi everyone! I am Homecrew(Janett) and my husband is Campcrew(Mark). While we have camped for many years this will be our first time at Bonnaroo. You all sound like a great bunch and we would like to join you in the VIP camp! Bought our tickets and counting the days. ;D
Happy to report I will be back after a brief respite in '10! Miss ViciousCircle will likely not make it, however
No real camping for me this year due to the back, but I'll be in the aforementioned RV with Mr. iSkew
So awesome! Sorry about VC, though.
Rumor has it that the Kevin and Kara may be back as well! Dan and I had an RV last year. It was cool but I missed the hanging out at camp scene. He's out this year so it's back to Camp Inforoo VIP for me. ;D I'm so happy.
5th Bonnaroo and first year VIP, after the heat last year my wife insisted. Would love to be in the Inforoo camp. I'll keep checking back to see what the plans are.
Alrighty folks, I am going to start the official list for Camp Inforoo VIP
I need the following info from those that are going to be in our camp: 1. Inforoo Name - Please also include your original name for sending PM's (My inforoo name is Mike D but for PM's I have to use my original name Dziegiel) 2. Real Name 3. Phone Number - cell phones preferred 4. Email address 5. Have you actually purchased your tickets yet(in full or started the payment plan)? 6. Will you be driving or riding, who will be in your car? Please also include the names of those who will be coming with you that are not on inforoo. 7. Will you be able to meet us in Manchester Thursday morning around 8-9? 8. Any requests on who you would like to camp by? If you will be sharing gear with someone and need to be parked by them I will need to know.
Folks, you will not be on the Official Camp Inforoo VIP List until I get this info.
Please send me this info in a PM here. Seeing how this is Camp Inforoo VIP I would like to keep as much of the discussion pertaining to our camp here. I will be emailing out some information as far as camp plans, phone list, how to ensure we all have a drink in our hands by noon, etc when the time comes.
We will be deciding on the exact time as Roo gets closer, but plan on being in Manchester by 9 on Thursday morning to meet up. We will do our best to compensate any late folks, but it is next to impossible to reserve a full spot for a late car. I know we fit at least one extra car in last year.
I would also like to go ahead and post up that I will have room to accommodate a few folks that would like to drive down Wednesday and stay in Nashville the night before. I live a little less than an hour and a half from Bonnaroo so it is just a quick jump down the interstate.
If anyone has any questions please post up here or feel free to PM me or email 274sotke at gmail dot com
I just realized there is no real VIP RV camp. If you would like to help make one I am including the names of those who have asked about it. All VIP RVers are also welcome to hang out with us anytime . . . . no, not welcome . . . required
The Official Log Of Mike D's Official Camp Inforoo VIP 2011's Official Members . . . . YEAH!!!

Hey everyone - my fiance (who is a Roo virgin) and myself (a 5 year veteran, first time VIP'er) will be renting from the VIP tent city area. Can we still be a part of camp inforoo???

Be sure to bring an EZ Up or other shade as none is provided. The tents are set out in a row a small bit away from the other tent campers.
And of course you are welcome at Camp Inforoo VIP!
