Hey all!
I am pretty sure my buddy and I (coming down from Canada for our 3rd straight Roo) will be going VIP this year (Last years highway wait was torturous and being crammed into a spot 40 minutes out of Centeroo was no fun either).
If VIP works out I would love to get on board with this inforoo mega group. Not that I had ever had problems with neighbors at Roo but knowing you are surrounded by such a large, friendly, and helpful group would be such a huge bonus (and from the sounds of it an even more amazing time than your standard Roo experience).
Obviously crossing borders, and flying down most of the way rather than driving, restricts us somewhat as to what we can bring and how much we can bring but I would be more than willing to share what I have and provide help in any way that I can when I am there.
I'll let you know one the tickets are purchased and the logistics figured out if I can join the group. Scrog, Coco to you my man for taking care of business!
solar led multicolored lights. They are cheap enough, if we each bought a couple strands we could encase the whole inforoo campsite (carefully of course, we dont need anyone TRIPPING over the wires ;D) in a sea of colored lights. This would fit with pretty much any "theme" we end up with...
*Confession* when I was little and went to see Jurassic Park I became OBSESSED with the blonde palentologist from the movie. I told my mom I wanted to be her and made her buy me clothes that looked like hers. I totally had bright cotton tanks, loose fitting button ups with the sleeves rolled and the tails tied, cargo shorts and hiking boots.
Im thinking Im jumping on the VIP bandwagon. I was going to shoot for access this year but my knee is feeling better and it woulda just feel like bad juju if I took a spot I didnt 100% need. So I will have a definite by saturday but Im thinking me and the boy are 80% in for VIP
I snagged some solar x-mas lights at Home Depot. Haven't taken them out of the box yet. How bizarre that I was in HD in December and thinking "how perfect for Bonnaroo".
And Bunny, Ron and I were in HD around December and they had the heavy duty tarp clips on sale for $.99 - I totally grabbed a ton of them while muttering something about Bonnaroo.
Oh and I am HORRIBLE about figuring out who is who with inforoo name vs. real name, so if everyone who joins up on the FB Inforoo VIP group could introduce themselves, that would be awesome. I'm getting old and not as quick as I used to be.

Arlene(boobies) and I (Tim) are attending our second roo together . First one was 08 and we went GA . Arlene informed me that if we were going to go to roo again we were going VIP . So this is it the year of us going VIP . I truley hope she will not be disappointed ,me I'm a festie goer from way back so I wont be this will be Arlene's second venture into our world . She was a gr8 sport the first time arround and I can only hope she's even more impressed this time arround .
Its only the greatest camp EVER!!! typically we will have anywhere from 15-20 cars that all meetup early Thursday morning and caravan in together around 9-10. Having a large number of cars allows us to really set up an awesome site, especially with the grids that are laid out for us. There are some VIP vets that go as well as new members here. It is also a way for folks on here to actually meet and hang out with each other outside of the interwebz. As of now Scrogg is getting all of us together in this thread and I will be requesting some information from everyone and will put together the logistics of meeting up, getting in and general site setup. Scrogg will also be helping draw up the plans of the actual site. Others will help out with various aspects of this, but that is the basic idea of it - awesomeness (and safety) in numbers!!!
