Yeah, you get a ticket with your media wristband. Media credential pick-up has been off-site in the past, so you still have to get in line, get your ticket scanned at the tollbooths and work your way through the parking machine.
(As a side note, be nice to the toll booth workers, that's how I got my ticket in 2007 and it's pretty boring work. Especially when you have a 6 hour shift.)
Still wondering about the camping situation. Any of you Bonnaroo vets, any suggestions? Where do you guys stay?
You just camp with the rest of GA. So either with your car or in tent-only.
Also, I emailed the Big Hassle guy in charge of the press passes and he said that passes can't be picked up till Thursday. He did not give any details as to what time, except that we will be told later.
Does anyone know if the GA tix that come with the press packages will be mailed or will I pick them up with the credentials? Just wondering if I will have the tickets so I can get set up earlier, or if I'll have to wait til after I pick everything up.

You have to pick up both your media credentials and your tickets at the same time. Even if they did mail the tickets first, the radio station is far enough away from the farm that it wouldn't be worth it to set up first and get your credentials later. The pick-up isn't on-site.

I'm working on a flash container for what will eventually comprise my coverage, since I'm going the multimedia route
Here's a mock-up of the opening screen I did in Photoshop:
The idea is that the "postcard" will flip over, where I'll have a prose description of the festival and credits. I think the navigation is going to be a map, I'm not sure yet.

Anyone gotten word on pickup locations and times? I know where it has been in the past, but I don't recall them waiting so late to give us the details.
Another nagging question from the aging Roo-kie: Do any of you guys know if the press/photo passes can be picked up on Friday? I've another event to cover Thursday night and probably won't roll into 'Roo until the wee hours. Just wondering.
No pretty sure you have to have a photography pass to have a "professional" camera.
well - Bamabelle gets a press pass most years and is allowed to take an SLR in but just cannot get in the photo pits - and I know there have been others on here that have asked the same question in other threads and the answer has been - press pass - yes - you can bring the cameras in - but cannot get into the photo pits without a photo pass

Direct from the approval email:
Please note that you have been approved for the following credentials only. Be aware that a Media Wristband will not grant you access to the photo pits, but will allow you to bring a professional camera to all other areas within Centeroo. Only a Photo Wristband will grant access to the photo pit areas. Please also note that a Photo Wristband is the same as a Media Wristband, but with additional photo pit access privileges.

Yes...you can pick up press creds pretty much any day of the festy...but only during certain hours and if I remember from past years the hours get more restrictive later in the weekend.....Pretty much last year it was like 7am till like 11 pm or so on both Thur and Friday then it started getting later and earlier on both Sat and Sun (maybe 9 or 10 am till 6 pm or so....) In 2007 they actually had press pickup on the Wed before but I think last year they started the pickup on Thur instead......but I've never had to wait so it's not really a big deal....
Don't forget!!! You don't have to wait in line to get into Centeroo. All you have to do is show your creds to security and they will let you through the EXIT. Saves you a ton of time They are also pretty lenient with bag check.

I'm coming back this year for year #2 as media. It's a bit different for me, considering I'm in radio but still lots of fun! Bring a recorder, there's opportunity for clips EVERYWHERE!
