Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
If this does somehow end up in May I’d really like to see Alice In Chains fill one of the typical 90s rock slots. Just finishing up reading a biography and am now itching to see them again. Last time was at The Ryman in my profile pic. They’re already playing 2 fest weekends in May (Sonic Temple and Welcome to Rockville) so the timing fits.
I thought we all knew this wasn't going to be in May?
The man’s got the itch to play. Fun thing to acknowledge, all 3 shows announced are well below capacities he could comfortably sell out. I believe all venues are sub 400 cap. Sounds like the kind of guy who wouldn’t mind playing in a tent.
I’m just gonna beat this to death until 2:59 on Friday
They played in 2016, the worst attended year of Roo. I don't think they are overdue at all.
Wasn’t that more of Dead & Co and LCD being more of a niche fanbase though? I saw Pearl Jam at Bourbon and Beyond in 2022 and the one day passes for that day sold like crazy.
Let’s not forget the 2008 PJ before Kanye West debacle. PJ’s team fighting with Wests resulting in the KW show hitting at 4:30. Ahh the good old days.
Bonnaroo sells best when they have a lineup with a distinct personality and artists w relevant new music. Cant say RHCP Post Cage Hozier move the needle for people to go to middle of nowhere TN and camp when they could go to just about any other C3 fest.

Slightly off subject but what time do we expect the MMJ primavera stream to take place on Amazon prime/twitch tomorrow June 3? (Edit - looks like 12:55 cst)

I’m pretty excited to welcome back MMJ to the farm which has me feeling nostalgic. I’ve been at every set of theirs at the roo but have forgotten so many of the details. So let’s talk. First year was 2003 in a tent. Were you there for the set in 2004 in the rain? 2005? How about 2008 when Kirk Hammett sat in? 2011? Was 2015 the last year they played? Did I miss a year (not counting Jim solo or super jams).

Laura was an amazing advocate for all things access at Bonnaroo. She never gave up on her mission and cultivated change that allowed for more people to have more fun at the roo. She is OG roo.
I will say this (and I’m not in the access program as a worker or patron)… Live Nation / C3 takes the requirements very seriously. Last year at the Farm you could see advancements with additional temporary walkways and tent ramps etc. i would expect them to attach some good people to running the program but the institutional knowledge Laura has is unmatched. The new team will have a steep learning curve.
First weekend night has Lettuce and Tower of Power with Louisiana Philharmonic, Master P and Friends, Agent Orange, moe, Tauk presents P-Funk & Sly & TFS, Cimafunk (Cimafest), Ministry w/ Gary Numan so far at night. Lots more to go.
Week between has Yves Tumor Monday, Goose Tuesday and Wednesday (with 5 openers each day). Second weekend, though Melvin Seals & Jerry Garcia Band is playing, e-collective, JRAD 3 nights, $NOT, Digable Planets, Diplo+Big Freedia, KDTU doing an Amy Winehouse tribute, Mule, a couple Avetts shows. We'll see what all gets added.
I’ve been following the grids site, some of those you mentioned were just added and could be fun. I think we’re going to go to Wednesday on the Friday night but I was hoping for something a little more exciting Thursday/Saturday than what’s been announced so far.
I also heard we should try to get to specific venues like Tipitina’s but I’m not sure Moe is what’s going to get us there
not to point out the obvious but don’t miss out on the fair grounds daytime fun. thursday at the fest is a great day

A lot has changed since 1969, but Bethel Woods, in Bethel, New York, is still standing as a cultural center and nonprofit. The notable site of the original 1969 Woodstock Music & Art Fair, the Catskills attraction has served as a beloved music venue and event center for decades. And now, the summer destination just announced that they’ll be hosting a brand new two-day festival, Catbird Music Festival come August 19 2023.
