I have both stayed in Accessible camping and done my volunteer hours there in the past and can say that their program is stellar. I can't imagine any other program being close to being as good, especially with such a short time to prepare. I wish them luck for the sake of all the participants needing their services.

I'm not 100% confident on this but I use ADA services at events like Coachella, Desert Daze, Just Like Heaven, and Cruel World here in SoCal and they use a company called Accessible Festivals which I believe is associated with Ten Fifty since the founder of Accessible Festivals is also the president of Ten Fifty. If that's the case the ADA program at Bonnaroo should be in good hands since the ADA programs at the festivals I've attended with them running the programs have been top notch.

Actually, reviewing the event events pages for Ten Fifty shows that they actually do the ADA programs at the festivals I listed as well as Bottlerock which might have had the best ADA program from any event I've attended. Shaded platforms with an accessible bar at the main stage, complementary water, and even medically trained attendants available at the platform. A friend of mine had a medical event during Bottlerock and I was highly impressed with how they handled her care.
Hopefully Bonnaroo is in good hands and although I admittedly can't compare anything to their previous programs I've had great experiences at the events I listed.
Someone on Reddit said they have talked to someone named Heather. I messaged Laura and she sent me a huge reply saying that EI was focusing on smaller local events. This is what she sent me.
Thank you for your kind words. We were with Bonnaroo since 2004. Our patrons helped us shape the program. We learned a lot that we applied elsewhere. It's a team effort! Everyone's invited will be focusing on smaller events and education and spreading the word. I think that local events are the call of the future. We need to do things in a sustainable way and this is not a good time for huge events that fly artists and equipment and patrons all over the country and world. Time for us to have just as much fun at our smaller, local events that use local talent and staff and have a local audience.
Thank you so much guys for contributing your thoughts and all the good info. From what you have found out blasted1 it would seem that EI chose to go another route rather than was fired. Maybe the OP can shed some light on that. Otherwise it sounds like the Ten/Fifty can handle it. I hope for everyone that is the case.

Sorry to post and dip. I want to conceal my identity as much as I can for this post because I do not know what is public and what's not. That is great messaging that Laura is sharing and honestly what her focus will be moving forward. Live Nation and or C3 made the decision to not renew her contract at 80 days out. At the time Ten/Fifty was working Coachella and Stagecoach so that delayed them by another month. We are now 37 days out and while Ten/Fifty hopes to rely on Laura's management team to get through 2023 they are dropping like flies. as one of Laura's core team said, "It took me 9 years to get the hang of the Bonnaroo Access program I would not want Austin's job right now". They cannot pull off what Everyone Invited has done for 19 years(thanks for the correction) in roughly a month. For the sake of the patrons I wish Ten/Fifty well but with 100+ events in their portfolio the likelihood of them pulling roo off successfully is low in my opinion.

Tex, My goal is not to dissuade anyone from coming. I just felt like it wasnt right that major changes like this are happening behind closed doors when its such an integral part of the event and there a lack of planning. Prepare more than you have before and hopefully things go smoothly. If you need powered tent camping for medical devices be prepared to pay this year.

Powered tent camping for 18 years has been a free accommodation for people who use medical devices like sleep apnea machines. It's now $300+ taxes and fees. Not accessible.

Laura was an amazing advocate for all things access at Bonnaroo. She never gave up on her mission and cultivated change that allowed for more people to have more fun at the roo. She is OG roo.
I will say this (and I’m not in the access program as a worker or patron)… Live Nation / C3 takes the requirements very seriously. Last year at the Farm you could see advancements with additional temporary walkways and tent ramps etc. i would expect them to attach some good people to running the program but the institutional knowledge Laura has is unmatched. The new team will have a steep learning curve.
we did c'roo for many years assigned to access, and worked with and got to know laura, dave, holly, and others, so this is very disappointing to hear. can't say i am surprised, live nation's management of the fest has been getting deeper and deeper into fest operations each year since they got stake. it's a damn shame it went this way, though. $300 for power strip access is fucking absurd.

The more I look at the answer they gave the more I don’t like it. It seems vague and mainly answering the first question I asked about them sending the wrong camping pass.

These stories are absolutely horrifying, and that the kind of thing I remember seeing before. I haven't camped there but it seemed like when people had issues wit the facilities in the past, staffers found solutions. Now it looks more like there barely is anyone and they're not even remotely adequately trained.
And I thought the non-functional bathrooms in some areas, out of control food prices, and VIP lounge where our walkway is supposed to be, were all bad enough. I also heard about some issues getting help from Safety when it was urgently needed, and someone basically getting robbed while they waited for emergency medical assistance (which is another story), though they were VERY responsive when my friend freaked out about her 15 year-old, blonde, white daughter going missing briefly (she was fine, just walked off on her own).
There's definitely a lot of LiveNation hate around here, some warranted, and the do deserve credit for some improvements, but all they did this year was break shit, starting and finishing with their accessible programs.
