agreed. me and my friend were so convinced about phish
Well Phish is a very well documented band, I spent some time searching archives, and as far as I can tell they never had a opener in knoxville. Also I went to all the phish knoxville shows from 93 on except two and never saw a opening band.
Post 19 who else was in 200 motels? Ahh, never mind that. --- chew on dis pd sd pndo fr het prgou neocni hpsree llvie (Smokin Dave opend for REM)
post 20 Ca va?? (What's up) le podes (it can) ukleawpur tac 4 med uygs
Post 21 SORRY-- ukleawpur should be kelu parwmu
Post 23 solve the first anagram and you'll be a lot closer to getting the second one and the grand prize, too.
in response to post 23... if we solved the first anagram which is SDPD opened for REM in Knoxville, then that will bring us closer to solving the second anagram, which is either "klue warmup act for them guys" or "luke-warm-up act for them guys" so if we solve the second anagram we will be led to the grand prize.
so the second anagram... does this mean that REM is a warm-up act for the big announcement... as in we know the band is bigger than REM or that REM has opened for this band before?
2/5- Papadosio 3/3- MUSE 3/12- John Mayer 3/19- The Werks 3/31- Passion Pit 4/18- Ben Folds 4/20- Against Me! 6/10- Bonnaroo 6/30- Eric Clapton and Roger Daltrey
Don't you all think this addition will be something that is NOT already playing a festival this year? I can't see REM (even though I like them) being a "big" announcement.

so, ratm, if you think that REM was supposed to help with the 2nd anagram, do you think this means that we're supposed to keep looking for either another band that opened for REM that has since blown up or to look for a band that REM opened for at some point?
"Clues and Such - April 15, 2008 Getting lots of questions about Bonnaroo and clues, DjJd, etc.
It ain't me babe, no no no it ain't me babe. Though I have a small part. (I am a good translator)
Very funny though.
In the words of a certain bad man from the 60s: I'm a patsy.
You will be better served by going to bonnaroo.com/ and looking for Zimmy, I believe. He's not as stupid as he sounds. (Thanks a lot Zimmy- revenge is sweet!!) "

haha... dang. well maybe the answer to the first anagram is nobody... and then insert "nobody" in for the second anagram, which would mean that nobody comes close to being a warm up act for Phish because they are so amazing. ;D

Post 22 Ooooooooh- somebody is getting close ot gnvlos taw hte ak-shual uelk zi. (somebody is getting close to solving what the actual luke/klue is) once they get that- it's where the real work begins. Farmhand is impressed.
I think we should be looking for a link between luke and rem

choo choo! time's a wastin--
DjJd going home for a cool beverage. Good luck.
Phish have two songs:
"Back on the Train"
"The Train Song"
there are a lot of songs with the words "train" in them. crazy train, train in vain, last train to london, etc.
and while phish is great, it's not them...it's led zeppelin...at least i hope.
