So I left a "humorous" quote on that picture's page about the dude looking like the annoying guy in college who played guitar at parties. Mr. Zimmy left this response on my page.

DJJD texts this here: going home for a cool brew on an chilly TN night. Rest your brain, tomorrow it gets really twisted.....and closer to the thump thump thump.
I'm back, and very confused about some of this new stuff, but I have a somewhat unrelated thought...
Could there be any significance to the use of the word right - as in, the opposite of left rather than the opposite of wrong? DJ JD has said a few times (er, more than a few) that the "right train leads to answer" and I think people are just thinking right as in correct, but maybe it's the other kind of right. In the clue that was in Italian it said something about people to the right of the point (or something like that) and it definitely was the directional right in that case because the words aren't the same in Italian.
Right train leads to answer man. Right train leads to answer man. Right train leads to answer man. Right train leads to answer man. Right train leads to answer man. Right train leads to answer man. Right train leads to answer man. Right train leads to answer man. Right train leads to answer man. Right train leads to answer man. Right train leads to answer man.
choo choo! time's a wastin--
DjJd going home for a cool beverage. Good luck.
I agree with the thought "right" may be in reference to the direction and not 'correct.' Mainly because I see djjd's post looking like a hand pointing to the right. Maybe I'm crazy, but I've gotten sucked into the conspiracy theories.
After all the clues that could be related to zep, I for one will be incredibly pissed if it is REM... REM isn't big enough to warrant an announcement of an announcement. NME announced their Zep announcment, but that was quashed that night. Maybe they just jumped the gun and Zep is real? All the fuss from the beginning had to have come from somewhere.

Yeah, all the Led Zep stuff just doesn't add up. I don't see how anybody at NME or anywhere else could have made that mistake. "Uh, yeah, we thought it was Led Zeppelin, but it was really...nothing..."
glad to see people see it the same way i do! yeah.. NME + AP + Chicago Sun Times (Which legitly broke the Lolla lineup the night before) all made the same collosal mistake? no way.
edit: I JUST FIGURED IT ALL OUT!!!! its actually Led Zeppelin playing JACK JOHNSON cover songs!! that way JJ doesnt even have to play, and he still headlines!!

Interesting "clue" pic...I have no idea what to make of that.
And sidenote, I just got so confused when I read that REM opened for Stillwater...I didn't know there was a real band with that name!
mike mccready from pearl jam is in stillwater
never has been, never will be.
but stillwater was the FAKE band from ALMOST FAMOUS
Former Members
* Michael Causey - guitar * Rob Roy Walker - guitar * Bobby Golden - guitar/vocals * Al Scarborough - bass/vocals * Bob Spearman - keyboards/vocals * Jimmy Hall - percussion/vocals * Sebie Lacey - drums/vocals
The real-life band is unrelated to the fictitious Stillwater in the 2000 film Almost Famous.

but...it DID leak! If it was true I'd be impressed that Superfly managed to re-cover it for so long, but it still did leak to begin with. And the media couldn't exactly say "no, really, we swear! please believe us!"
Hey guys I have been watching this all day and I started the very first clue thread. I hate to say this (I am sure others have) DJJD like I have said before has no idea who the announcement is on Thursday just as he had no idea who was in the original lineup. He may be this Steed character or one of the other folks mentioned that play with him. Who knows. He continues to get great pleasure in manipulating you to promote himself. If I am wrong then I am sorry. I just feel pretty sure about this and am tired of him taking advantage of all you folks.

the only thing that concerns me about zeppelin is their rehearsal schedule. I know they prepared like hell for the O2 concert but with Plant on the road, do they practice at all? wouldn't paparazzi be all over it if they were caught going into some rehearsal studio or anything? or could they be that quiet about it?

WHOA Becca I didn't even notice that you'd cracked the 10000 mark...congrats!
Also my radio player just starting skipping horribly making it sound as if Pete Yorn has the world's worst stutter.
And the thing that always made me a bit suspicious of all of the places that reported Zep on the lineup was how fast it spread...the AP had the story literally within a couple minutes of NME...I know they work fast but that's really impressive...unless they had the story already too.
Edit: And DJ JD definitely knew who was in the original lineup, that's how we first "knew" about Pearl Jam and Metallica. I think we can trust that he still knows what he's talking about.

The real-life band is unrelated to the fictitious Stillwater in the 2000 film Almost Famous.
from an Entertainment Weekly article: "If you find yourself enjoying a few songs by a phony band called Stillwater, don't be TOO embarrassed. The 1973 mustache collective featured in writer/ director Cameron Crowe's Almost Famous has a legitimate rock pedigree. Pearl Jam's Mike McCready is the real talent behind Russell Hammond, the band's charismatic lead guitarist (played by Billy Crudup), while ex Heart guitarist Nancy Wilson (Crowe's wife) plays rhythm guitar for the group. What's more, '70s vet Peter Frampton penned several of the Stillwater tunes heard in the movie, and Wilson and Crowe cowrote the band's bass driven anthem 'Feverdog,' which made the film's soundtrack." Also contributing to the Stillwater sound include Marti Frederiksen (Motherland) on vocals, John Bayless (The Lovemongers) on bass, and Ben Smith (also of The Lovemongers) on drums.
