I think I like Now Only more than anything that came out last year.
garageland and I got to hear some of this album live before it was released, back in Sept. (Hopscotch) and goddamn it was good then and goddamn it is good now. Mount Eerie hits me in the feels in a very visceral way.
I’ll be honest. I was sobbing so hard I had no clue what was said till I listened to the album.

Cokes is it possible to keep the OP updated with the final standings of each month? This thread is one of my favorite ways to find new music but I can't keep up with it.

I've asked Cokes to update the OP like three times but have been ignored every time. I'd like the results and albums to look out for in the OP too

I imagine it's less you being ignored, more Cokes having shit going on in his real life.
Also, I'm already mad about this Caroline Rose album not being represented on end of year lists. It's only March, but I feel it being overlooked already.

I mean, it literally just consists of copy and pasting. Plenty of other posters have been getting lists together of albums to look out for, and someone has been counting the results of each month.
Superorganism has been my favorite thing of the month so far. It’s a pretty great album (though I get the feeling that I could grow tired of it with quickness). Really fun for now though.

While I do think Mount Eerie is the "best" album thus far, I'm probably gonna end up playing of Montreal more as the month/year goes on... not sure which way to vote on that
Luckily April will have no such difficulties, because Janelle Monaé

is there a worst album cover of the month thread? Because jack white, what the hell is that?
There is a general one for awful album covers somewhere. Agreed that album art is rough. To be fair, it matches nicely with what I think of the two songs I've heard off the album.
