I think the real icing on the cake is that he got stuck with a loss and a suspension, personally.
He is still the best receiver in the game right now. I would love to see a rematch
You may have to wait for a while. What's pathetic about being the "best receiver in the game" is he had JNo beat. If he had played lights out, the giants would have won and the skins wouldn't be laughing it up. Instead, he is seemingly responsible for both the comeback as well as the failure of the comeback.

I love ODB, I think he's amazing, I think in fantasy football dynasty drafts he's the #1 overall player. I don't think he's better than Antonio Brown as a football player or wide receiver today.
I am a recovering Steelers fan, I'd like to think not biased, but believe what you want.
I'm in my fantasy finals but I have Will Tye as my TE. Should I drop him and put in Kyle Rudolph?
Will Tye imo. Giants D is a good TE matchup on paper but I don't see Rudolph getting enough targets to warrant starting him. Tye will see even more targets this week with OBJ out and has been producing already the past couple weeks.
edit: and rudolph with the td lol. i dont think anyone would have advised you to start rudolph over tye regardless.

I had Rudolph in until I read that.
I suppose this is what I get for listening to someone who thought the Falcons were good.

So you dropped Will Tye picked up Rudolph and then dropped Rudolph and put Tye back in? Ok.
I'm kinda disappointed. Living in Iggles country, hearing bosos on the radio go from declaring Chip Kelly the messiah 3 months ago and then devolve into complaining about him being a phony used to give me some solace. Now I need to listen to more delusion after they hire a new coach.
Chip quickly went from fun and innovative to Steve Spurrier 2.0 upon Jeffrey Lurie's foolish decision to give the coach all the power. Now all the good college jobs are gone.

Isn't there one low tier job left? Also, there was a lot of buzz at one point about A&M firing Sumlin. Kelly would be a big enough catch for them to take a long look at that.

The more that comes out about Chip's firing, the more it sounds like a Harbaugh situation where they just didn't like the guy and no amount of winning would have overcome it.

I have so much action riding on Week 17 that it's making me dizzy and sick - survivor, 33, confidence picks, wins pools, playoff bids...I can't keep it all straight.
So there has been a lot of talk the past month about either Brees, Coach Payton, or both may be traded in the off-season. I think losing Coach Payton would be a big loss, but not as big as losing Brees, and here is why:
Brees finished with the most passing yards in the NFL for the fourth time in the past five years with 4,870 yards (he finished second in 2013 to Peyton Manning's all time record-setting year). He was second in the league in passing percentage at 68.3%. He was tied for seventh in TDs at 32 (the leader, Brady, only had 4 more at 36). He was sixth in QB rating at 101.0. Finally, he was third in the league in Total QBR at 75.5. He also only played 15 games this year, so he probably would've eclipsed 5000 yards again and been closer to the top in TDs.
Bottom line is that Brees still has it and he is still elite. He made these numbers despite the fact that the Saints have an arguably weaker set of receivers and tight ends than in past years.
Bring this man back, but only if you extend his contract and save the team cap space. Do not bring him back for only one more year at $30M. And do not trade Payton for anything less than a top five draft pick or more.
I found it funny that I just talked to a coworker who is a Steelers fan who was just as confident in a Bengals victory.
A real Steelers fan knows that nothing this season has been a guarantee
Oh, c'mon now. It's McCarron vs Big Ben, it's the Steelers in the postseason vs the Bengals in the postseason. Pittsburgh has won 14 out of the last 17 meetings in Cincinnati. Let that sink in.
It would be the happiest I have ever been as a Bengals fan if they win Saturday night. Unfortunately, it's not going to happen.

On what planet does Sean Payton command a top five pick? Or any pick?
If they can get a good return for Brees, now might be the time. They need to rebuild, and they have too many holes to address that in a single offseason. If you can cut cap space, get a return, and start planning for the future, might want to take advantage of it now. There are far too many teams in the NFC much more well poised for immediate success than the Saints.
The going price for Payton, according to sources, is a second round pick. I'd never trade him for a second-rounder.
As far as Brees goes, he will most likely restructure and stay on the team. Brees is worth far more to this team than what the Saints could get for him in a trade. He IS this team. He keeps people in the seats despite the record.
The passing game is the only thing the Saints have going for it. Running is pitiful and defense is barely existent. If you dump Brees, they're in the running for a top three pick next year.
