Took yesterday off to recover from Sunday shenans and came into the office to immediately hear about "pouty" Cam leaving the media room after the super bowl. I love that Peyton gets less coverage/attention for not even having the decency to shake hands after his superbowl loss, but Cam gets a mountain of criticism for shaking hands with a smile but leaving the press conference "early" after overhearing some donkos player talking shit during his interview within earshot.
The thirst to knock Cam down a peg, among media and regular folk alike, is disappointing.
Also why didn't they show him giving the one TD ball to a kid? Surely it happened.
Stewart didn't give him the ball. I guess he wanted to keep it. Cam wasn't Cam the entire game though. He wasn't smiling and dancing around like he usually does. I know people will say it was because he was getting his ass kicked, which is true, but it seemed like he was like that from the beginning.

He definitely let nerves get the best of him, he never really settled down the whole game.
Even the best teams can throw up all over themselves in the big game. (Says the Bills fan.)
The Panthers were in it until the end. They have nothing to be ashamed of. I wanted Denver to win so that Peyton could retire on a high note - as high as could be given his diminished skill set these days - but I came away from the playoffs impressed with Carolina.
The Cam hate and the reporting on the Cam hate has gotten out of control. He's a young guy enjoying playing the game on a team that was better than anybody expected. He physically scores more touchdowns than his peers so he has a lot more opportunities to celebrate. People need to just settle down and remember that it's just sports.
I saw new posts on here and found that I had missed a lot of sad Carolina fan posts. Y'all have a strong core that'll be good for many years. I can't say that I wish you any luck in the future, though. I personally hope that your team tanks moving forward. But, the reality is that you have a great team and an amazing quarterback.
Can't blame him. They had all season to sign him. It's not like they couldn't have foreseen Manning retiring. Of course he's going to follow the money.
But, yeah, they're screwed. It's starting to look like RG III time...

Yeah I don't blame him at all for taking the money, just sad cause I thought we had him pretty much locked up earlier this week. I would honestly take literally anyone over RG3. Kap or draft please.
