I think only Atlanta fans truly believed they were doing anything other than overachieving with that 5-0 start. Still hard to grasp how they could implode that badly only needing to play .500 ball with the league's easiest schedule.
I beg to differ. There were many analysts calling them the best in the NFC at one point.

What a depressing day it was yesterday for Bengal fans. I believe we went from having good chances of playing in the AFC Championship to virtually none.

I kept saying going into Sunday "I don't care if we win or lose, I just want the team to come out of this game still healthy."
What happened on Sunday was the worst possible outcome that could have happened. I guess we get to see what AJ is made of. I've already heard idiots saying that Andy going down was the best thing that could happen for the team because aj is that much better. I'll never understand sports fans in Cincinnati...

Yeah, he will always get that until he wins in the postseason. The guy has a 25-7 TD/INT ration this year, can't ask for much more than that.
Lucky that Dalton won't need surgery. Hearing a lot of people say he may be back in time for the home finale, would love to have him for the Denver game though. It decides if we are playing on WC weekend or not.

I can't imagine him being able to play for the Denver game, which sucks because its obviously such a huge game. I think expecting him to be back for the ravens game is wishful thinking too. If they can win 2 out of the last 3 hopefully they can still get a buy and get Dalton back for the first playoff game. I haven't heard anything about 85 but him coming back would be a huge help for McCarron.
People over here are all like "We still have a shot at the playoffs! As long as we win our final three games, Minnesota loses all three games, Tampa loses twice, the Rams lose once, the NFC East beats itself up..."
I'm like "Dammit, Tampa! You were supposed to beat us! I wanted that top five draft pick!"
Detroit fans are stunned Bob!!!! Coldplay doing the halftime show... Surprisingly not surprising.
I went to a Thanksgiving day game in Detroit a few years back and Nickelback played the halftime show. I mean it makes sense because there aren't really any bands or artists from Detroit...
Was there an over/under on how many ketchup/mustard jokes were made throughout the night for TNF? I'd have to say a strong 10,000 would have been a good starting point.
I've been searching through your past posts and I cannot find where you decided the Panthers lost a game. Can I please have an explanation?
LD linked it, but I'll explain a bit from my angle - I'm not letting this go, despite how dumb it is or probably because of how dumb it is. I love it. It is hilarious to me.
Say what you want about Odell's actions yesterday, but I was on the edge of my seat that entire second half. It was one of the best halves I've seen all year. I was excited every time they started fighting, and the comeback was incredible. The fact that he scored the tying TD against Josh Norman was icing on the cake.

I think the real icing on the cake is that he got stuck with a loss and a suspension, personally.

He is still the best receiver in the game right now. I would love to see a rematch
