Yeah, this would have been a dream lineup for the college kid 2003 me back when FLips and Wilco were still near-peak and I was more into jam In general
1/17 Spafford 2/7 Greensky Bluegrass 3/17 Cool Cool Cool 3/28 Ekoostik Hookah 7/10 Jason Mraz 7/11 Chris Stapleton 7/12 Red Hot Chili Peppers 7/13 Buffalo Ska Fest
Last year ithey trickled out names from november to about march/april i think. This year they haven't announced anyone yet, they said it will be announced before march 11th, that's all we know.
I saw people discussing that supposedly leaked lineup on PT. I have to believe it's a fake because its so insanely packed. That would be an all timer.
Yeah it is being discussed on a few forums. I think it originated on PT though. Some people are standing by it but who knows with these things. I'm seeing Phish 4th of July weekend, just saw Phil and a good rest of the "leaked" lineup is already at Peach Fest so I would probably pass even with it being so stacked and looking for a Sept. fest.

Yeah, i don't think it's crazy really...typical lockn with phish in place of petty, plant etc.

I think the stacked comes more from the second or thrird lines which would include Wilco and the Flips, etc.. Those bands headline some jam band type fests. But I'm with you that I don't think it's crazy.

I'd be excited for the leaked lineup if real. I'd be sad about no Dead & Company/Ratdog/Billy and the Kids/Mickey Hart doing something, but it'd convince me to come back, hell I might be able to talk a couple buddies into coming with me with a lineup like that, Flaming Lips particularly.
Fuck, that Panic Incident was wishful thinking. EWF Incident could be cool. Would like to hear Boogie Wonderland and do my best Rodney Dangerfield dance.

I had no idea Lockn moved the dates up! The weekend that it usually is would have been the same weekend as the VT/UT clash in Bristol (which I already have tickets for). Fantastic!
The Facebook comments and reaction to this is brutal.
Is this the year Lockn begins to "sell out"?
I just saw a comment that said "the bonnarooization of lockn has begun". So I guess they have "sold out". I'll take thus lineup all day. I love widespread, Sci, dead etc, but switching it up a bit isn't a terrible thing imo.

I don't doubt they add some of the regulars later. Maybe Phil is taking this year off and hanging around the bay area.

I don't even know how one could make the argument that they're "selling out". They diversified the lineup a little with MMJ - Charles Bradley - Brandi Carlile, while bringing in the big jam headliner (Phish) and some of the regulars acts (Keller Williams, Tedeschi Trucks Band, UM).

I didn't actually bother to go and read the comments section. I just guessed the complaints were somewhere along those lines as well as Dead, Panic, and Cheese fans missing seeing their bands up on the top of the lineup. I saw a post from an acquaintance who has gone every year saying Ween only has two good songs.

Either Cheese or Panic will get added to the lineup, if not both.
