Sooooo, the app is finally updated for this year. Thought that would mean we'd actually get set times, but the times aren't correct. Does anyone know what time music starts on Thursday?
Nm, I think I found that the first band starts at 3:30 or 4 on Thursday.
IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT FROM THE LOCKN’ ORGANIZERS: Opening of Campgrounds Delayed Until Further Notice and Thursday Performances Canceled Earlier this evening, a severe thunderstorm with high winds passed over Lockn' and caused damage to the festival grounds, particularly the parking and campground area. The good news is that no one was injured and the entire team is focused on cleaning up and preparing for a great festival. The unfortunate news is that we will be forced to delay the opening of the campgrounds and cancel Thursday’s performances in order to give the team the time necessary to make sure the festival grounds are safe for both our guests and our artists. Despite the inconvenience the storm has caused, we count ourselves lucky that everyone is safe and that we have three great days of music ahead of us. We look forward to seeing you soon. Stay tuned for new campgrounds opening times and other updates.

Arrington, VA’s Lockn’ Festival has delayed the opening of its campgrounds until further notice due to a major thunderstorm in the area. Thursday’s performances have also been canceled. They should offer a merchandise voucher or a percent off for next year tickets because of this. Out of Lockn's control, but people that have come from over 5 hours away right now are stuck trying to find a hotel until tomorrow.

This blows. I'd be bummed about missing SCI and late night Galactic and the extra day or two off from work I would have taken were I attending this fest. Luckily, most people going to Lockn are retired or unemployed. I kid, I kid. Hopefully they do something for ticket holders similar to what ACL did for the weekend two Sunday cancellation in '13. I got a third of my ticket price refunded. They also had several free shows scattered around downtown. I don't know if that will be possible in Arrington, VA. Maybe EOTO will set up at the Food Lion for all to rave tonight.
The Southern Belles and Moogatu are playing an impromptu show tonight in Charlotesville. Luckily I'm only 4 hours away so it's not that big of a deal. Does really suck for people stuck down there. I just hope they keep traffic flowing once they do start letting people in. Gonna hit the road first thing in the AM unless something else changes.
So I read that it ended up raining a whole lot more over the weekend. Really glad I didn't drive like 12 fucking hours for this I would have been miserable.
Setlists weren't epic either, but I'm sure the music was great.
It was awesome. A lot of people were stuck in traffic for a long time on Friday morning. We got lucky and timed our arrival pretty perfectly. Only waited 2 hours. It did rain a good bit early Saturday morning and a little during the day. It was muddy on Sat but it dried out mostly by Sunday. They did a great job of recovering from the storm and keeping the mud at bay. This fest seriously is the cleanest I've ever been to. Everyone takes care of their shit, which is awesome. People are so friendly too. I'll be going back again for my 3rd year next year.

Really? Weather would've made your weekend miserable?
Phish for sure will be there. Not seeing the dead. Lineup does look quite nice for old jam fans
