Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
Emoney serves more of a purpose than any of you, especially Nate, whose incessant, garbled ramblings are so mindless and pointless that I get depressed just seeing them.
What if you don't enjoy the music but you enjoy the singer?
Well, in that case I suppose we can at least have a beer together.
damn they sound amazing, gotta add them to my lineup.
i wasnt expecting any more ska other than flogging molly... i dont no many lesser known bands. other than these people who else plays ska music that will be at the farm?

Well, it's definitely not ska, and you're probably already familiar with them considering their legendary status, but....
Bad Brains are arguably the true godfathers of punk/reggae fusion. Moreso than Fishbone, even.
Considering that we'll probably never get (re-united) The Specials, or original English Beat, then Bad Brains probably comes about as close to what you're looking for as anything.
I used to see'em in the D.C. area when I was a teenager -- and that's a long friggin' time ago!
So this Fort Atlantic band is some kind of amazing. They just released their debut album and it's on spotify if anyone wants to listen. Think singer/songwriter with a lot more depth and crossing several genres from song to song. Elements of classic hard rock (Career Advice), electronica (I'm Wrong), and Dylan (New York Lights). Considering they are opening the festival and no one else is playing, I am going to be front and center as long as I have my stuff all settled in.

I concur. Career Advice is their best song. It's gonna be a great way to open Bonnaroo;
I always try to see at least one or two Cafe acts and I lucked out in being able to see three. Gonna go see The Apple Butter Express (you have to be a folk/bluegrass act with that name), Rollin' in the Hay (same thing), and The Stooges Brass Band.

Is nobody else excited for The Main Squeeze? Their free EP is pretty awesome despite the formulaic lyrics. They can really play!
I'll be seeing them, Sister Sparrow on sonic, Rubblebucket, hopefully Oberhofer and maybe Pujol, worried I'll miss out on a good spot for Radiohead if I see him. Loved his debut album.
Bummed I'll be missing LP, Tauk, Chappo and (almost definitely) Marina, but I'm sure they'll be back and bigger, or closer to me for cheap (like Jukebox the Ghost).
(1) Damon Albarn (2) Nick Cave & the Bad Seeds (3) King Khan & His Shrines (4) Ty Segall (5) Ms Lauryn Hill (6) Darkside (7) Kanye (8) Janelle Monae (9) Goat (10) Meshuggah.
Oberhofer is seriously the best cafe act Roo has booked in years.
Black Box Revelation EARNED their spot in a tent this year with a totally kick ass Miller Lounge show last June so Oberhofer is going to have to bring it for me to say that. But I like their chances and they could have probably handled a Tent.
I'm loving We Are Augustines followed by Art vs. Science... don't mind too much that they'll make me late for the Superjam. Fort Atlantic sounds pretty good and they're the first band to play Roo so I might stop by while touring the grounds. Main Squeeze and Cosmic Superpunch on Saturday are also intriguing.
Anybody else that isn't waiting early for Radiohead or going to see Foster the People should plan on coming to see Deep Dark Woods with me.
I'm really considering it since Cafe Where is so close to What. I missed them at Americanafest last year but they were probably the most talked about show to come out of the Showcases that weekend, enough so that it snagged them a Best Emerging Artist nomination for this year's Americana Awards that just got announced yesterday.
Such great cafe acts this year. Unfortunately the scheduling didn't do me justice on Friday when Oberhofer, Caitlin Rose, and Hey Rosetta! all play during the Avett Brothers, Feist, and Trampled by Turtles clusterquack. But I'll see what I can do.
Definitely going to see Cherub on Thursday night though. Would also like to have caught Deep Dark Woods, but they'll be a last minute decision between waiting for Radiohead, Foster the People, and Deep Dark Woods. Similar story for Valient Thorr and my biggest schedule conflict of The Word and Major Lazer.

Yeah, it looks like the only Cafe shows I'm going to get to see this year are Cosmic Suckerpunch and possibly Deep Dark Woods. Everything else of interest to me has too many conflicts (really hate to miss Tauk and Sara Watkins). I don't know anything about Glossary, but they and the Cabaret are my potential overflow plans on Thursday if Alabama Shakes is Sleigh Bells level crowded.
I am debating like crazy going to see Deep Dark Woods right before Radiohead. I'm not the biggest Radiohead fan and have been wearing out DDW's record lately. I just know that I will be kicking myself if I get to Radiohead and can't see anything. However, I get the feeling that DDW's will be close to empty with Radiohead coming up, FTP, and Pujol at the same time. This means a very intimate show.
Another cafe killer for me is whether to leave Charles Bradley early for Dawes and Hey Rosetta! on the Sonic Stage. It kills me that Hey Rosetta's main set is during the Avett Brothers. Oh decisions......
