Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
bacon, that reminded me: the current exhibit at the Country Music Hall of Fame is "Bakersfield Sound". If you have extra time around Roo, you might check it out.
I've heard the name Caitlin Rose for a while now through seeing her touring with other acts I like. I suppose now is a good time to check her out.
Her mom co-wrote Taylor Swift's first album. I'm friends with her sister and I have to say it's weird seeing her get all this attention in the past few years here.
She's pretty cool, but definitely an "only if nothing else is going on" kinda thing for me.
Art vs Science could turn into a raging dance party. They would be perfect for a Thursday tent show though. Had a chance to see them open for The Chemical Brothers and it was an absolute blast!
Read a little bio on them, (on spotify) and said they are liken to Electric Six, Justice and Junior Senior. And then said they were inspired on a fateful night at a Daft Punk concert. Really excited to see where they get put, and the dance party that will be intiated when they play
WE ARE AUGUSTINES - Plenty has been said already about these guys. I will be seeing their set. Chapel Song and Book of James are two of my favorite songs of last year. Also, "Rise Ye Sunken Ships" may be the best album name ever.
Deep Dark Woods - Alternative Country at it's best. From Canada, but bringing the southern country vibe. The reverb on the guitar is going to rock me to sleep.
The Staves - 3 cute girls with killer harmonies singing folk songs. They toured with the Civil Wars. I'm a fan.
The Silent Comedy - Rock 'em, sock 'em pub music, but very well written songs. Gonna be a heck of a show.
I don't think I could be happier about the cafe acts. So pumped.

Dood...its your friends sister!?!? You should be showing your support for her whether you like her music or not! You should atleast be hyping her up for petes sake!
She's a singer/songwriter who is part of the Nashville-based "Ten out of Tenn" group. (see also: Matthew Perryman Jones, Trent Dabbs, Butterfly Boucher, etc.) Her set will be especially nice if you're feeling tired or hungover, as her voice is sweetly soothing.
For fans of: Ingrid Michaelson, Tristan Prettyman, Julia Stone, Emily Wells
Here she is w/MPJ doing one of their songs featured on Grey's Anatomy:

I'm really stoked on this. I haven't seen her in a year or two but she was amazing when I saw her. Hope this doesn't conflict.

I'd say Justice is a perfect comparison for them, or if you're familiar with The Presets that'd be an even better comparison. It's live electronica with live vocals, very fun and high energy. When their debut comes out in the US later this year I have a feeling they'll be big on the EDM scene.
Is the Cafe stage open on Thurs? Also, having never been there, roughly how big is this area. Thanks!
there are 2 of them. troo music lounge and cafe where? or whatever they're calling that one now. tml is at the back of the which field. probably 200 people max. the other one is at the back of what and is even smaller.
I've seen him open for Hayes Carll (acoustic - incredible guitarist) and for the Drive-By Truckers (electric - great band, varied set). Seriously, the guy is super talented, writes wonderful songs, and has that "I'm so lucky to be doing this!" enthusiasm, which never gets old. Nice dude, to boot.

I post on boards where members of Tauk, Jukebox the Ghost, and Deep Dark Woods post. I'm very happy for them. I was checking out Tauk and on their website, they offer a free download of their newest album. Its instrumental (2 songs in) and VERY good. Kind of spacey. Nice builds.
I can't find by lightning! anywhere. It doesn't exist!
I was going to say the same thing about Wild Cub. The only legitimate thing I can find on these guys is a crappy road to Bonnaroo video...and they sound pretty bad in it IMO. I don't see how a band can be at Bonnaroo if they haven't released a single song. Bizarre
