Eric Holder justified the targeted killings of United States citizens without judicial process because that's totes what the Constitution meant by due process.
4 MORE YEARS! 4 MORE YEARS!
edit: "“Due process” and “judicial process” are not one and the same, particularly when it comes to national security. "

This is where I have a beef with both Santorum and Romney. This paranoia against Iran even though they haven't actually done anything. We don't go after Pakistan even though they have nuclear weapons and Al-Queda settlements. Or North Korea who also has nuclear weapons and have widespread abuses of human rights along with restricted access to the western world. So why Iran? I don't want to risk a nuclear escalation like Cuba just because some A-hole wants Iran's oil and extend America's influence in the Middle East. We need less war. Not more. If Iran does actually close the Strait of Hormuz, I'm sure the Arab league and the world will help us out. Just like when they helped us out when Kuwait got invaded. But until then, chill the fuck out.
As far as Holder is concerned, what's new now? He already fucked up when a cache of American firearms got stolen by Mexican druglords and US has no idea where they went. Ashcroft, now Holder. Our Attorney Generals have sucked, I nominate Will Ferrells Janet Reno.
My internal jury is still out as to whether what I view as Obama's atrocious civil liberties record outweighs what I view as the overall positive rest of his administration.

The way everyone feels up here is the piece of garbage that is in is going to stay in because the GOP cant come up with anyone decent to take up the cause without comming across as a pompass ass.
In the midst of tight GOP primaries in both states, Public Policy Polling (PPP) has released information showing that a majority of likely GOP primary voters in the Deep South do not see Obama as a Christian. PPP's Alabama survey of 600 likely GOP primary voters found that only 14 percent consider Obama a Christian, while 45 percent said he is a Muslim and 41 percent answered that they were not sure.
A similar picture surfaced in Mississippi. Of 656 likely GOP primary voters surveyed, 12 percent said Obama was a Christian, 52 percent classified him as a Muslim, and 36 percent fell in the "not sure" category.
It's embarrassing to say I live in the same country as these people.

I'm not sure which group is dumber those that believe the retard the white house is awsome or those that believe any of the GOP can pull off a win against the retard in the white house.

Yeah, he has some positives to his administration like the implementation of the TARP Bills that did prevent an economic freefall. His administration got Osama Bin-Laden,with huge credit going to Petraeus. He also has done a great job of diplomacy in the Arab world. His visit in Cairo was truly inspiring and it think it played a small part in the Arab Spring that spread through Egypt and Tunisia. Even though Libya was controversial, it did help transition North Africa from dictatorships to democracy. I also respect his idealism about democracy and government. He's like that teacher in HS that really inspires you but can't control an unruly class.
I agree that his civil rights record has been suspect. No progress has been made on Guatanamo. I didn't expect him to close it right away because that would be haphazard but the process to get them in the court process is dragging which does go against his word. The Mexico problem is shameful. It's bad enough we don't help even though the druglords are using our guns against the Mexican government. But to lose a cache of arms in a federal operation!?, come on. Plus, I wanna see some information on this assasination scandal. I haven't heard about it in the news and I want to make sure it's legitimate and not some outrageous PAC ad with no truth. He also seriously needs to grow a pair, the current Republicans are so corrupted from their original message that there is no hope for compromise. He's gotta be forceful like Reagan was in his era. Proof that the Republican party has strayed from its original message, Gingrich is third. The Republicans have become pro-Wall Street, pro defense contractors which recently has become a dangerous threat to overturning democracy. Obama needs to show he is fighting through that.
Unfortunately none of the two Republicans that are likely to win,Santorum and Romney, show any promise in fixing their party. Especially Romney. If you don't like how deregulated prices are now, wait till he gets in.
In Virginia, I voted for Ron Paul considering he was the only candidate against Romney due to some problems with the ballot.
How bad is it that Newt quacking Gingrich is the least of the three evils in the Republican primary? (I'm not counting Ron Paul since few take him seriously.)
I'm not sure which group is dumber those that believe the frittat the white house is awsome or those that believe any of the GOP can pull off a win against the frittat in the white house.

I don't know whether these got much national attention, but I should point out that Wisconsin seems to be getting to Rick Santorum. A reporter in Racine asked him a question which included the word "bullshit" in his response, and he let the first syllable of a certain N-word slip at an appearance in Janesville before stopping himself.
Could he be having his last stand today?
More interestingly, when exactly will Newt drop out? I've heard of staff layoffs, but he's still in it at this point. Though at this point, he is basically that knight in Monty Python & the Holy Grail with his limbs cut off...

Well, Mr. Santorum got my vote today!
When he was here a couple weeks ago he was talking all about Walker and Paul Ryan. Then when Ryan endorsed Romney, Santorum referred to Ryan as "some other Wisconsinite" or something along those lines that was childish and bitter. I'm sure kdogg would know better, I just thought it was funny.
But seriously f*ck Paul Ryan. Get me out of this goddamn district.

What do you know about his challenger, Rob Zerban? I saw him speak at the Oconomowoc Democrats (yes, there is such a thing) meeting last month and was rather impressed. From what I understand, polls are showing it's going to be a rather competitive & close race.
The big story making the rounds in today's Wisconsin primary involves Mitt Romney & Paul Ryan. They handed out subs at a sandwich shop in Waukesha:
The Democratic Party of Wisconsin has filed a complaint, but I'm not sure how far it'll go.
