Just watch out for the guy smashing bottles over his own head. Don't fight that guy.
Also, after rereading some old posts I'm convinced that the Inforooer that Sproat got into it with at Bonnaroo was Phi. I only say this because Phi and Sproat had a long-winded argument on here a while back, and haven't clashed since. Sproat makes mention that he agreed to never reveal the person involved as long as that person never said anything at him every again, so that fits. It's my best guess. If so, that's pretty crazy - I don't see eye to eye with Phi about Skrillex, but other than that he seems like a good dude.

i remember his psychotic rant against me a while back, but it wasnt me. i never met an inforoo'er till this year. and lono met me at Radiohead so he knows what i look like and can verify it wasnt me.

I had no idea any of this had happened. I just read the last 5-6 pages of the thread and still have no clue what really happened except that emoney got banned.
Sometimes I think people take what happens on this board way too seriously. If someone is making racial slurs, homophobic slurs, or threatening people then I understand. But a poster being a smartass is not a serious crime evidently because it is often celebrated on this board by the masses.
Making fun off people's musical taste is not serious either. Perfect example is Phi being made fun of for liking Skrillex, but instead of him getting mad he embraces it and rubs our faces in the fact that Skrillex won a grammy and is widely popular.
I have not been on the board a long time, but I can't remember reading a post that offended me or a post that I thought would offend someone else. Maybe I just happened to miss some of those post.
Also, there are rules set in the Inforoo Guidelines thread. I guess if anyone breaks these rules they are subject to being banned? -No ticket selling will be tolerated, we do not want to get shut down by the promoters of the event -No flaming, obscenity, or otherwise being rude, this is YOUR scene, keep it clean! -Please post in the appropriate sections of the message board, inappropriate posts will be moved or removed -Please, No Drukq talk on Inforoo™. With the exception of the TM and Ticket Selling rule every single one of these rules is broke every single day on this board. And the Ticket Selling rule will start to be broken everyday as the festival gets closer. If breaking any of those rules make a poster subject to being banned then I think the Mods let a lot of stuff slide under the rug (which is not a bad thing).
That being said I have no clue what the whole emoney situation is so it is hard to have a firm opinion on the matter, but from what we know I dont think it was just. It seems the mods know more than we do so it could have been the right decision.

He tried to friend me, but I keep my facebook pretty private to non friends, and like I said I do not friend inforoo people unless I know who they are. I got burned by emoney posting pictures off my profile on here. I am pretty sure I responded to his friend request by asking who he was on here and never got a answer so I did not do it.

Yeah, I mean, he's used stuff against some people here. But by "used stuff" I mean find out personal stuff that's happened and bring it up to certain people to try and get a reaction or something. There are some chat logs where he's just staggeringly stalker-ish and crazy. Despite the petty squabbles that take place on here, everyone knows there's a definitive line that shouldn't be crossed, so when we saw him trying to cross it he was sent packing (he's been banned since this incident).

We don't really know. But he did pull very personal information about someone and posted it in the chat. something that wouldn't be known without putting a lot of time and effort into looking into someone's past. He basically asked for Jess' info, dropped some racial and homophobic slurs, challenged me to a fight, and then said the piece of information that was not only personal, but clearly intended to really hurt someone (which it didn't, thankfully).
He has a "file" on me, but is convinced I'm a Jewish rich kid that wrestled in high school (none of those things are true), so he's building a file on some innocent person from my hometown, I'm guessing. He does have some weird knack for finding people's personal info, though.
I don't get it.
