i think most of us people who would prefer to see emoney stay banned (like myself) are just keeping quiet so we dont get lynch mobbed and have to argue with everyone back n forth. we have nothing to protest, we got what we wanted.

You mean, besides the back-and-forth that already took place? Also, it's appreciated that you portray the people who want emoney back as some crazed, mindless mob.
I think we were pretty well-spoken in our belief that this was an unfair banning. We gave reasons and we supported those reasons. We didn't just come in here and all-caps a "BRING BACK EMONEY OR ELSE!!!" type of response.
I am willing to bet the posts in support of emoney in this thread were much more eloquent than the complaints that got him banned.

Right. I was just curious as to whether the initial complaints outnumbered the pleas for his return. Not that it matters, just wondering out of geniune curiosity. Obviously now that you "got what you wanted", you have nothing to argue about.

You do realize that "lynch mob" has a connotation to it inferring irrationality, correct? Sorry for arguing, but you did kind of infer that we were unruly and mindless.
Also, I really don't understand why you would rather him be banned. Theres an ignore function, why can you not use it on him? I have several members on this forum on ignore and it doesn't hinder my experience at all...
i would define "lynch mob" as a group of upset and angry people?
if you're trying to say it was meant to be racist or something, it wasnt?
No, I'm not calling you racist at all. I do associate the term with the Civil Rights movement, and many of those lynch mobs ended in people getting killed for what a vast majority of people in the country today would call crazy beliefs.
like i said, in my head i defined "lynch mob" as a group of angry and upset people. i had no idea it meant "irrational or dumb" or anything.
sincerely apologize if you guys took it that way.
and if i had to chose between having emoney around, and not, i would chose not. the guy constantly troleld me. but i completely understand why some of you are defending him. im not saying its unjust.

I mean it does have a racist connotation with it too but its quite obvious he meant it with no racial intentions. But it still does infer when calling a group a "lynch mob" in a non-literal sense, you are inferring that they are passionate, reactionary, and irrational.
I guess you are unaware of the connotations that are associated with the term "lynch mob."
You basically said if someone speaks their mind in support of the ban, they'd be attacked. I was disagreeing with that sentiment, as many people had spoken in support of it without being attacked.
