Eesh, no leash laws? I didn't know that was even a thing. Do you have anything to protect yourself from particularly mean creatures?
What kind of awesome animal encounters have you experienced? Friendly pets who greet you with a wag of their tail instead of sinking their teeth into you?
I never carry protection. After 5 years I know 90% of the houses that have bad dogs. This week was just a bunch of random/new customers that had sneak attack dogs. They act all cool until you get 5 steps from your door then they grab a leg.
As for the cool animals there are tons. Several dogs that jump in with me as soon as I open my door. A goat that sprints toward me when I drive up and bleats like crazy when I get out. I usually chase him around for a few minutes.
Left my door open while I made a delivery at a free-range chicken farm and came back to four hens and a rooster in my van.
I also had my first encounter with a wolf a few weeks ago. A really chill full-blooded wolf that somebody rescued as a cub.
I especially love the goat and chicken tales! That's great. Your job sounds slightly less terrifying now.
Do you ever encounter scary people? People who are absolutely nuts/unreasonable/rude? I'd imagine you do.

Since it is south Alabama I do encounter the super tweakers daily. You can only hear them scurrying around the house and see them peeking through the tinfoil covered trailer window though. I usually knock really hard and yell something to freak them out a bit.
Had a gun pulled on me once. That was interesting. Guy was just startled by me and quickly apologized. I later apologized to my underwear for the mess.
Sex propositions are the best! Never what ones imagines though.
I also deliver to a couple of prisons and pulling up during 'yard' is interesting.

You're just too young to grasp how stylin' I really was. All the boys wanted to do me when I was 5. Actually the girls did too. My haircut was confusing.

Superchunk is good indie rock. They have been around since 1989 I do believe. I hope Waxahatchee is opening for them instead of the other way around. A band that has been largely overlooked.
Our postman has a really thick country accent. Every time I talk to him, I find myself talking like him. I hope he doesn't think I'm making fun of him lol
My accent changes severity based off of who I am talking to. I noticed it a long time ago but have never been able to control it.
This is actually a defense mechanism like Hakuna said but it also denotes a "sympathetic personality". It means that you want people around you to feel understood and accepted so you become like them in an effort to create a comfortable exchange. Basically, you're just a nice person.

You Ought To Hear This 7 minutes ago The Tabernacle was evacuated tonight after the floor was shaking/breaking during the Panic! At The Disco show....leading to a panic at the Tab. The show was cut short after just a few songs. Photo: The Tabernacle was evacuated tonight after the floor was shaking/breaking during the Panic! At The Disco show....leading to a panic at the Tab. It'll be interesting to see what kind of damage was done since there is another level underneath and the building was built over 103 years ago. They've got some big shows coming up not to mention they host their fair share of corporate events.
There's a fair amount of older venues around here, including a bunch of 1920s/1930s era theaters that were converted into music venues. I imagine they were built well back in the day, but after all these years - just hope they were well maintained and still able to hold up.
Was at one in Providence tonight to see UM - it looks pretty beat up and in need of a facelift.

Same here.
When I lived in Arizona my mom could always tell when I was in the room with someone because she said I talked different. My family actually teases the way I talk sometimes (they say I'm talking 'white') and now that I'm here my friends in AZ say they hear my country accent more over the phone.
I honestly never thought about it. I always told my mom I never did it on purpose. Glad I'm not alone!
They really were amazing, but that was one of the worst crowds I've ever seen at Union Transfer. So many people on drugs just not shutting up..and obviously this isn't some cheesedick EDM show that provides a sensory onslaught for you to ignore people talking. Moreover, seeing the same people walk in front of you several times is rather annoying too. Luckily about halfway through the set I got close enough where I didn't need to deal with much of that shit anymore.
I was up on the balcony on the side, so I didn't notice any of that. (That was the 21+ only area). Sorry the kids ruined your show. You should check out the balcony next time, I'm pretty sure acoustics are better up there anyway - at least that's what the bartender told me at the start of the night.

I think the floor at the Tab always shakes. maybe it was more severe last night, idk. that place is really old though. I hope they're able to fix the problem because that's my fav venue in ATL.

People always think I "talk white" when they first meet me which I find very sad. I just speak English and abide by grammar rules

It does, as do most Hard Rock/Live Nation venues. Most are built to give and/or have springs built in. The Masquerade also gives a good bit. Here is a picture of the actual crack. It shouldn't be a bad fix and should help find other trouble spots.

I remember the first show I went to there, was Tool. we were standing up the entire time on a rail in the balcony. I noticed after the show that we had seriously bent the rail. didn't even notice during the show.
