Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
We need a thread for updateson how long the line is getting in, how long it took you to get in, how far away you are camped, and any other info about what later people can expect on their way in. Also, if you have info on particular road blocks to look out for. If this has already been created, lock this up. If not, lets keep each other posted!
I have a question. I plan on coming all the way up from Nashville using Murfreesboro Rd. (I dont drive on interstates, long story). The plan is to then come through Manchester, take a left on McMinville Hwy, then cross over 40 at Exit 111. Is this going to be possible or will they have it blocked off and still make me get on the interstate, then turn around and get in line on the interstate?

You will be on highway 55 when you cross over 40, correct? You should be ok.

if you lived in nashville you would know. 2nd to st louis in 18 wheeler traffic and nobody seems to know where their exit is until they are almost passed it. I pass at least a wreck a day on I40 and the busiest people in nashville are the guys that run the roadside assistance truck. I have lived in a lot of major metro areas like new orleans and atlanta, and Nashville drivers take the cake for worlds worst drivers.
"An overturned vehicle near Charlotte Avenue exit on Interstate 40 has blocked all eastbound lanes, according to the Tennessee Department of Transportation. The accident occurred at 1:40 p.m. and TDOT's website estimated that it will be cleared by 9:40 p.m."
Might affect those that are driving from the east this afternoon. Just a heads up.

but more on topic, I am really hoping some people post their entrance times, waits and location of camping spot. I was planning on being in manchester at 1am thursday morning, but 1 person from my party can't leave nashville until 4am. the upside is that she is a bartender and we are going to get as much free ice as we want.
i want more information on why you dont use interstate highways
If you must know, its an anxiety issue. For some reason interstates at 75mph next to 18 wheelers triggers my anxiety and passing out doing 75mph on the interstate would most certainly be certain death. So instead of putting myself through torture I just avoid them.

Traffic here in town is relatively light tonight. I got into Manchester around 7 pm and have been to walmart alreAdy and now back to my campsite at Old Stone Fort and it doesn't seem to be too busy out there yet.
so this thread is relevant after all. we need it stickied and efficiently used so we can all know whats up when we get closer to the festival. if yall can get in at 4, DO IT! so when i show up around noon on thursday, the line will be an hour shorter
I'm working at the festival and already on site. I'm in a staff camping area and some guy just came from a meeting and said the gates were opening at 4pm. Sounds legit to me.

Heads up - there is road work somewhere around mile marker 200. It was one lane for about 5 miles. It was find an hour ago, but could produce delays in periods of high traffic.

Hey folks - welcome back! It is now noon (11am Bonnaroo Daylight Time) and that means it is time for another traffic update
I've been on I-83 South for 270 miles, so I'm about 30 miles from crossing inti Tennessee. Traffic remains fluid. I have seen no speed traps, but several cops. Drivers should be aware that there is a police officer patrolling 81 in central Virginia - his vehicle was completely unmarked, but it had been confirmed as a black Dodge
