I bet even if Phish plays twice, we will get another big jam band for LN. UM is heavily rumored and I also could see someone like the Allman Brothers coming this year. They never have made up for that 2008 cancellation
SCI was great last year and I thought I read an article where they said they really enjoyed playing that show, so maybe they'd come back? Not getting my hopes up, though.
didn't someone in a thread somewhere mention that UM was highly likely for a return to LN? this is what we need. i don't think we'd get furthur as another jamband, they would be too expensive i think. i have no idea what price range SCI would fall in, but I would love to have them back in any time slot. I caught them for the first time since the breakup at the Fox this past fall and they blew away my expectations.

I'll be stunned if Adele is there. She has stated she isn't doing any festivals. It would be a big get if she comes. Also, get the Raconteurs there and I can die happy.
I always tell myself that the headliners don't effect the entire weekend, as I usually have more fun with the undercard, but......
If it really is Radiohead, RHCP and Phish as the main headliners, I couldn't be more disappointed. I know the majority of the board has hard-ons right now, but I feel screwed.

to each their own.....
Out of curiosity, what would make you not disappointed? Neil & Crazy Horse? A hip-hop headliner?

This makes no sense? You're telling us that you don't care about headliners and then you're telling us that you would be disappointed with Radiohead, RHCP and Phish..

I had tickets for that show. Front row lodge. Didnt go. Sold the tickets. (money issue)
Im jealous
But that kind of explains the cost involved in booking them, does it not? 5000 seats at 60$ avg at the fox = 300,000
Probably could book them for between 200-400K?
And why not add in EOTO. Maybe an EOTO>SCI starting at midnight, taking a short break and doing another LN set on Which?
Im greedy, but eff it. Im just throwin stuff out there

One of the best live Rock bands of our generation, one of the best jam rock bands in history and a band who has tens of millions of records, and has put out some very decent tunes over the years and will probably be fun to see
What would your ideal top 3 be? And you don't even have to be realistic. Your DREAM top 3

because despite really enjoying the lower acts, there is still something to be said for the excitement & aura of waiting at What Stage for a huge band to come out.

Not sure about my dream headline. I guess I could just list a bunch of big bands that I would be excited to see headline, even if I've already seen them play Roo. Arcade Fire , The Who, McCartney, DMB, Pearl Jam, maybe The Foo or AC/DC. I'm sure I'm missing some others, but off the top of my head, those.
As much as I have tried, I just can't get into Radiohead or Phish. Phish is fun live due to the audience and glowsticks, but I just don't like their music. RHCP, while not a huge fan, I would still enjoy seeing them as they do have some songs I like.
alright I'm gonna throw my list out there... this is gonna hurt hail to the thief (got me into radiohead when it came out. will always have a special place for this one. plus i can blast myxomatosis all day and never get sick of it) in rainbows kid a ok computer amnesiac the bends king of limbs pablo honey
