Wait, how do we know insider's post refers to Phish? Seemed open-ended to me. I'm confused, someone bring me up to speed either via PM or here.
I don't think anything is guaranteed, she's just missing around with us. FTP was being talking about right when she posted, so she might be referring to that. Then again, they're pretty small for her to talk about. Beach Boys and Phish are the other possibilities, but I feel like it's mostly wishful thinking. It'd be better to wait until she gives us her real answers, and be happy that we all know she'll actually be here this year.

Phish isn't getting two primetime sets, and they sure as hell aren't getting the Saturday night headlining spot. 09 was special because of the reunion.
And saying Phish isn't a jam band is like saying Rebecca Black is this generation's Michael Jackson. Sure you can make an argument for it, but at the end of the day it's just not true.
This is the first message board I've ever been on, the only reason I joined is because I love Bonnaroo and wanted to read and talk about it all year long.
Can i say that I would really love to see Lana Del Rey? She didnt announce summer dates, and she would be a lovely day time set, maybe like Regina Spektor in 2010?
Beach Boys are 3rd or 4th on the lineup, maybe 5th. With Phish and a likely big rock act - they can't go higher. But I doubt they'd fall lower than BuffSpfld

I don't think Van Halen (even with Diamond Dave) would be a #1 headliner. Given the years and years of history, Van Halen would not be a great choice to build a line-up around considering their instability even when reunited. Lastly, that'd be two reunited legends for headliners which is 1 or 2 too many depending on your preferences.
IMO Phish . Foo Fighters . Beach Boys would be weak but if you throw Van Halen in there it would actually start to feel unappealing. Of course the under card can save any headliner list.
Beach Boys aren't headlining unless Carl and Dennis rise from the dead. Probably 4 or 5. Also, as Garage and I have been saying Phish will probably get 2 sets back to back on either Friday or Saturday, similar to OSL. If Paul Simon is really going to be performing Graceland next year then I could see that potentially closing it out. Love to see MMJ get the chance though.
-When I Hear My Name -Dead Leaves and the Dirty Ground -Blue Orchid -Passive Manipulation -Red Rain -Death Letter -My Doorbell -Hotel Yorba -Same Boy You've Always Known -Lovesick -Little Ghost -We're Going to Be Friends -The Hardest Button to Button -Black Math -The Nurse -I Just Don't Know What to Do With Myself
Encore: -Ball and Biscuit -Seven Nation Army -Screwdriver

I think this is what it will be. There will be 3 headliners this year. Phish will be one of the 3 but play 2 sets. OSL is a testing ground for Bonnaroo (in a sense). I'm not sure why after 3 years nobody here has really picked up on that.
