Yes, This is the official announcement for the Quacking Scrog-a-Roo Scholarship
;D This is not joke. I repeat this is not a joke! I am not some guy in Alaska giving away tickets, although I did make the C-list ad. This scholarship is founded with the intentions of helping two well deserving souls find their way home to Bonnaroo. To quote March BMOTM,
"I would say that first and foremost, the person needs to have a strong desire to go to the festival but can't afford it otherwise. I wouldn't want it to go to someone who could afford everything easily, but just wants to save some dough. Also, they should be an all round nice/good person... someone who would fit well with the vibes at Bonnaroo."
This is who we are looking for, if you know of this person, please apply. Anybody who is not this, is who we are not looking for. I say we, because, I found two tickets last week," they fell off a truck". The scholarship donors choose to remain anonymous and that is all I will say about that.
Recipient will receive
2 GA 2011 Bonnaroo tickets
as of now up to $250 for travel expenses
2 Camelbak-gift-bags, loaded with Roo necessities and other surprises

Must be 18yrs old, I will ID you.
Must complete questionnaire application
Deadline for Applications is April 23rd(that is 3 days post holiday for most of you)
Must be an existing Inforoo member* or sponsored by an existing Inforoo member* and registered on Inforoo within 36 hours of this announcement
Will be required to show up to brunch in front of everybody and do your "Happy Dance"
Must be able to prove you deserve this package, which means you can't afford to go on your own
Must not violate any rehab, probation or restraining orders
*under these circumstances an Inforoo member must be a member of Inforoo for more then 30 days.
Send a short PM to me and I will send an email to you. I emphasize short, but tell me name, email, city, an Inforoo member referral, and a brief answer to: why should I send an application to you?
The selection committee will review the applications and the recipient will be announced on May 1st.

I believe we will find the right people. Glad you liked the "Happy Dance" idea. I am excited for this as well and already have visions of some great happy dancing. ;D

I would expect that some Inforooer who is all set and doesn't need the tix themselves could tap somebody who is not a member and who has the right stuff but no money to sign up and apply and let Scrog know that so-and-so is a reference for them. Think that might work....
