Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
Has anyone figured out music for the dances? I am going to make an offer, but only if all three performance groups agree/can use it. I have an Ion Blockrocker, or as I like to call it, a ghettoblaster. It is essentially a car battery in a speaker box with a couple speakers that is primarily made for ipods.
It is not something that I would typically bring out camping, but if all three of our entertainment groups have a song on their ipod/iphone (needs to be the standard apple dock hookup that is roughly 1/2 to 3/4 inch wide) I will. It has a microphone as well for heckling, karaoke, and calling out when I need a frosty adult beverage from someone. It also has a standard plugin for a guitar if that needs to be incorporated into a dance for this too.
Mike D, that is awesome. I'm sure with all of the alcohol at this year's brunch we will have a need for amplified heckling, calling out and karaoke. We'll have to see if we can get Jack White to stop by and plug in for guitar.

thoughts?
If you have room bring it! The entertainment is not allowed to select their own music, though. This was discussed with Scrog a while back and I posted in the Brunch thread. There is a plan. Oh, yes. A plan.
Mike D that thing is bad ass! with that, I would not have to worry about a Bullhorn. I could just use that microphone. Bunny and I discussed music already, I suggested we do a bunny's Ipod roulette shuffle. What ever comes up, that is what they dance too. If someone has a routine and wants to 'bring it' to their hand picked Jam, than by all means let's see it, or unless somebody wants to dance to a certain song, I say a random Ipod shuffle is fun.
A little torn here.. Thinking the truffle shuffle might require specifc music. Wondering if their might be any Brunchsters willing to take on Bunny's I-pod shuffle and warm up the crowd?
Oh that reminds me - must go order the clamata juice. Need to go find Mike D's pukey smiley.

Bunny is going to be staying at my house, my house the night before Roo so I will talk it over with her and see if it will work.
Trance for the Truffle Shuffle? Maybe...but I'm totally feeling some deep, funky bass grooves like straight outta the '70s double-knit polyester fly-collar afro-wig disco era. And whattya know, a bunch of us in VIP have disco balls! (wait, that sounds wrong! y'all know what I mean!)

So the excitement I have for my first Bonnaroo this year is already bursting out at the seams. I listen to Roo bands on my way to and from work, at the gym, home, while showering, etc. At every break I have at work I'm reading Inforoo on my phone. I've had my Centeroo backpack packed for over a week now. And then I read THIS THREAD...and now it's like my excitement has busted out and is bouncing around the room like several hundred bunnies on crack. I'm just floored at the quality of people here as demonstrated with your generosity and excellent humor, and am totally looking forward to meeting you all at the brunch.
And Quacker mentioned Karaoke...if there was karaoke I'd so be down
I never saw this thread until today although I think Meg sent me a link when we were in need of tickets but I have been away from the boards a lot lately and rarely have time to log in. It is so amazing to see so much kindness going on in this thread and I think everyone needs to know that Dallas and I were recipients of a gift of two tickets from Jhointn! Karma to all!
I can't wait to see all of you at the brunch and am so excited for Plasticpepper and Captn Jack! We need to take a group photo!
Thats wonderful!!! Thank you for posting on this thread! Also a huge friday to JHO. QSAR is already looking towards next year and hoping 'the collective We' - Inforoo - can share the love even more for 2012.
I can't wait to see all of you at the brunch... We need to take a group photo!
Ya know, I was thinking this EXACT THING today...but then I wondered: who's gonna volunteer to stand there taking pics w/everybody's cameras? And, where are we gonna find a spot were ALL of us at Brunch can fit into 1 tight space?
Just an idea: if we're planning to meet up at Matt's Tree before lunch, maybe we can have a pic taken there, too (at some point)? We did that at the planting when there was only 12 of us; it would be awesome to have everybody joined around. We can compare yearly growth (of the tree, not the Inforoosters!)

Yeah, I definitely figured we should take a pic at Matt's tree...and I think we need to get one of all our CarpeDM'd feet!
I always want to try to get a group shot at brunch too, but I'm not so great at somehow organizing that many people. I think I had the most luck with it in 2008 when I wasn't even there! That was the last time a full group shot happened as far as I know, and I'd like to think it was partially due to me demanding one beforehand!
But yes, we should DEFINITELY try to get a group shot this year!

I will bring my nikon d90.. With kit lens, so nothing fancy.. But it should take a good group shot. I'll try to take some good photos and maybe share with a password protected photo album??
Hey MirROOnda,I have a tripod. Thanks Jen Kazoo and hikingdeadchick, this is something great and amazing. :)The Inforoo family has the biggest hearts, ever! and like FM said we are looking to return in 2012 and spread more of the Inforoo love. ;D
SO cant wait to be back on the farm and see/share the Happy Dances!!! Hope all of the brunchsters are game. : ) (As my gf says.. I'm 'game' but dont shoot me.) : ) 'Couple - three days'!
